5/18 Walgreens Transaction #2

Again, I plan this transaction except for the Benefiber I added. I still walked away only paying $2.01 including tax!

The first thing me and my co-worker do now when we walk into Walgreens is to head straight to the clearance end cap to scope out deals. I am so glad we did because the Right Guard Professional Strength deodorant had been marked down to $4. However, it was advertised that you would receive $5.99 RR for purchasing it.

I bought the following:

  • Right Guard Professional Strength deodorant $4 get $5 rr (register reward)
  • Colgate Visible White toothpaste 4 oz $4.49 get $4.49 rr
  • Benefiber Stick Packs $4.99 get $2
  • 6 Top Ramen (filler items) $2.34

————————————————————–

Subtotal: $11.33 plus $.79 tax

Coupons/RR’s used:

  • $1 Right Guard Professional Strength deodorant
  • $2.50 RR – Bayer Quick release crystals
  • $2.50 RR – Bayer Quick release crystals
  • $2.50 RR – Bayer Quick release crystals
  • $2.00 RR – Colgate Tooth Paste

—————————————————————–

Subtotal: 10.50 in coupons/RR’s

Grand Total: $2.01 out-of-pocket

I received in RR’s:

  • $6 RR – Right Guard Professional Strength deodorant
  • $4.50 RR – Colgate Visible White toothpaste
  • $2 RR – Benefiber

————————————————–

Grand Total RR’s received: $12.50

Same visit two different transactions, I received $15.50 in RRs.

I am saving money by buying the items that I use anyways plus making money on the Register Rewards (RR’s).
