Yesterday, I posted about the FREE Open Nature Quick Cook Grains at Vons/Albertsons and I found it in the canned goods aisle (canned beans, corn, tomato sauce, etc.) at my Vons. Check both the soup aisle and the canned goods aisle for this freebie!

The package is about the size of my iPhone Plus.

  ALWAYS make friends with at least either the manager, supervisor or cashier of a grocery store. Most are well aware of these promotions and will save you time and trouble. They will let you know if they’ve even seen the item (sometimes it’s not in stock) and/or where it’s located (in this case, who in the world would ever think to head to the vegetable section to look for something labeled “grains”?).

    I initially went to the soup aisle and I quickly saw the quick cook grains wasn’t there and the next aisle was the canned goods and there like 6 varieties to choose from. Starting on Saturday, it’s going to be cold and rainy and a perfect time to cook the quick cook grains!

    Got the last one on the shelf today near the canned vegetables. Also snagged a free Alpha burrito (store offer), they actually sell a breakfast one I’d never seen before. Plus a free Ibotta Core bar!
