Hey I found a monthly deal that wasn’t listed on your post. Utz Chips (3.5oz) are only $.99 reg price (discount applies) and you get $1up when you buy 1 bag (limit 2). So it’s free w/ no discount and a small money maker with any discount. Excellent Deal! I passed by it in the store and then coincidentally one of the employees told me about it after at check out and confirmed it worked.

I wanted to tell you about a great deal I found from Natures One for 2 free Pediasure samples. I’ve seen two versions of it. One requires you to call an 800 number during business hours and speak to an agent. This one is totally automated but is not a toll free number.

    Call 1-614-898-9758 24 hours a day
    *press 1 for samples
*press 1 for Parent or Consumer
*for PediaSmart Nutrition Beverage press 1
*for Baby Only Organic Formula press 2
*Follow the prompts to complete the call.

You’ll get an opportunity to choose two 4oz samples.
Answer the questions, leave your shipping details and your sample will go straight to your door!

You must give your phone number. They didn’t call me, but they need it to check for it to be a legit number.

    Keep up the great work!!

Could you write a bit about your experience with BzzAgent?

I got a campaign for a certain product that I’ve tried before and frankly wasn’t at all impressed with, but from everything I’ve seen on the BzzAgent site they are only interested in their members giving rave reviews and free – positive – advertising for all the products they try. Will I get a negative score for an honest review?

    Reply
    • admin June 8, 2013, 19:02

Yes, I will do a write up on my experience with BzzAgent. I actually gave a bad review for the Covergirl/Olay make up a year or two ago and I didn’t notice a negative impact.

      • greenbean July 29, 2013, 19:48

Hmm, well so far they don’t seem to give negative scores, but I have to say I’m not fond of the way all their emails and pages practically beat you over the head with encouragement to rave about the products. And there are very limited opportunities for any point earning activities in a campaign if you didn’t like that product – you’re hardly going to spread Bzz about it in that case, are you?

Or maybe I should? Put on my FB and tell everyone I know “X product is really awful.”… I’m not really the type to do that kind of thing though.

I have just got mine too, $2.99. I had several items in my receipt and total was 0.04 + 1.76 tax. They deducted VV coupon that was for $3. Though $2 manuf. coupon was also attached to that item, it did not say ” marc antony ” , so they did not take off it.

Hello, I love all the sale and deal updates that you post to help us out in getting the best deal possible.. I wanted to see if you might be able to help me by sharing some info on your site of one of your blogs.. I use to offer my coupon clipping services on ebay but now due to policy change, that is no longer the case. I started up my own page at http://www.oregoncouponclipper.com where people can go to order direct inserts. since you are so great at your webpage and blogs I was wondering if you had any advice on how I can spread the word? Any advice you might have would be great.. Thank you so much. I have 3 children at home one with special needs so loosing the income will be devistating

I bought 2 Mt. Olive Pickles 24-oz. for $ 0.38 at Vons ! They are reg $4.49 , and I had personal coupon Mt. Olive Pickles 24-oz., Limit 1 Per Day Personalized Price $1.88. This week they are BOGO and they had 0.75 hangtag coupons on them, so 1.88-0.75-0.75 = 0.38 for 2 !

I did use ecbs, and paid $3.28 outta pocket.. I am not sure how this rebate is going to turn out!! We’ll see!!

Learned something new today at Rite Aid. If you buy $xx amount of product, then get $yy amount of up rewards…This will only track if the buy amount is over $10. I was attempting this deal… Buy $8 in participating Conair or Scunci products, Get $4 +UP, Limit 2. I bought hair products at two different stores and transactions because the selection varies so much. Now, I have to return everything and repurchase. Ugh!

    • Ms. B. August 22, 2013, 19:30

Kristy, I believe the threshold is $10 and under. There is nothing in the ad that says that you must buy all in one transaction to get the +Up. Sorry, you didn’t get your +Up. 🙁

When I download the magazine now, it doesn’t give me the coupon for Naturemade and I desperately need those coupons for the vitamins I take regularly. Do you know where I might pick up that magazine or pdf that has the coupons? Both my local Walgreens are out of the magazine.

BTW, regarding the gift card law in CA: after I read someone’s comment here that it’s not just Rite Aid who will cash out your under $10 store gift card, I tried it at CVS today. So, while they did seem to know that they should be able to do it, not a single one of over half a dozen employees actually knew how to do anything with a gift card but check the balance – including 2 shift supervisors.
I had to wait around forever until the store’s head manager got back from her break, and then it took her over 5 minutes trying different things on the register until she figured out how to do it. I’m frankly not sure she even did it correctly, since I was asked to sign a refund slip and handed what looked like a refund receipt with the money.
If anyone knows an easier way to cash out a CVS giftcard, please share.

I was hoping you could help me out….back in mid-November, you posted about the Naturemade vitamin coupons with Walgreens. I did as you said….saved the file as a PDF on my computer…..Well….somehow that file has been corrupted and the date on the coupon shows 03/01/1…..so it obviously won’t work!!!!! I was hoping you could send me another copy of the file because I know you would have one too!!!! I’m thinking I’ll open your email on a different computer just in case it is a software issue….it looks like the PDF converter is messing it up!!! Ugh! Any help you could offer would be great! I know you mentioned having problems with certain conditioners because of the hidden proteins (or msg) and I had a question about hair coloring. I have an allergy to msg and didn’t even consider finding it in my hair products. I colored my hair and since then my head has never been the same. Now I want to color it again, but am very worried about understanding product labels and finding something that will work. What products do you use? Thanks!

    • Ms. B. January 28, 2014, 05:08

I use natural ingredients for my hair. I find that when I color my hair, I absolutely need a deep protein treatment b/c my hair has been striped of protein to color and you need the protein to make the hair strong. However, a greek yogurt with honey and and apple cider vinegar brings back that strength to my hair. I will do a post on products that I use on my hair! 🙂

I was very frustrated by Rite Aid coupons not scanning. I receive coupons from RA each Saturday. I used coupons from email on Feb 8 with no problems. Today I printed out coupons from email on Feb 15. The coupon said – was previously used. What? I was shocked. I just printed them for the 1 st time! I said “no, I did not use them before”. They did no believe me. So I looked like a liar in front of RA personnel! After coming home I printed out coupons from both emails to investigate and they appear to be the same! Second e-mail did not say that it was a duplicate, so coupons must have been new and different! Those new RA changes make me crazy.

Elena, I am so sorry to hear about the issue with the RA coupons. Oddly enough, a couple of weeks ago, on a trip to RA, the register said that I had used a duplicate coupon also but the push the coupon thru at my store. You should definitely send an email to Rite Aid and complain!!!!!!! You should also fill out the survey on your receipt and let them know of your horrible experience.

Babs, it really depends on the store how they handle rainchecks with +Ups. But yes, they are suppose to issue the redeem the raincheck by reducing the price of the item to account for the +Up. If you got a survey on your receipt, I would make sure to complain about the raincheck issue.

    borrowed from SCS

A deal for the wine-o’s at Ralphs! To do this deal, you do need a rebate that is available in the 4/20 CVS weekly ad. (CA only) This rebate will give you $16 back by mail when you purchase (6) Turning Leaf wines. The great thing is that the rebate does NOT need to be redeemed at CVS–you can purchase the wine anywhere and submit the rebate!

Turning Leaf Wine is just $3.49 when you purchase 6 bottles. Here is your deal:

Buy (6) Turning Leal Wines $3.49 each
    Pay: $20.94
Submit $16 Turning Leaf Rebate from 4/20 CVS weekly Ad
    Final Price: $0.82 per bottle

If you are an Albertsons shopper– Turning Leaf wine is only $3.99– so, $1.32 after rebate!

Found a great deal at Rite Aid today.

Clairol was $6.79 gold at my store, so..

    2 Clairol hair color = 13.58
    2 Tampax pearl tampons @ 3.99 = 7.98
    Total = $21.56

    – $5/2 Clairol
    – $4 RA Clairol in ad coupon
    – (2) $2 Tampax
    Total Coupons = $13

    $21.56 – $13 = $8.56 and get back $7 up for net cost of $1.56.
My stores usually have a higher RR than most states, so may be an even better deal for others!

I sent in my rebate coupon as required and I have received the $4.99 card; however the spelling of my name (Rhodes) is incorrect and the card says “do not accept if the words original document do not appear on back.” I do not find these words on either side of the card and together with the incorrect spelling of my name make it impossible to cash this. I would also like to know where to take the card if you can send me a corrected one, such as bank or grocery store. Thanks for your help and trust I will hear from you asap. June Rhoden

nutribullet – 900 – I’ve been listening to you about the nutribullet and have been waiting for a sale – at kohl’s.com, it is $130, i used SUNNY and JUST4U and HOMESALE10 and got free shipping cuz it was $75 or more, with tax, it came out to $96.39… if i had a kohl’s card, i could have saved more by using JULYMVC and BEACH30 – just fyi… at sprouts right now the blueberries are 1.98 for 18 ounces – that’s the cheapest I’ve seen, and at ralphs and food4less the strawberries are 1.25 ea… i buy a lot right now, flash freeze and then bag them up and deep freeze for the winter.. fyi… my kid says i’m a squirrel haha.. but now after getting the blender, it seems even more important to have the fruits ;o) thanks for your recommendation!!! ;o)

Did you get your rebate on Florida’s Natural Citrus Smoothies at checkout51? I finally got a negative response from them after submitting the receipt several times with underlined item. Here is the response:

    Hi there,

Sorry that our system could not approve your claim for “Florida’s Natural Citrus Smoothies”. Unfortunately, the offer is specific to the store at which the product must be purchased. Only items purchased at Safeway stores, and not Safeway-owned companies, are eligible for the offer.

We apologize for this inconvenience. Thanks for your understanding.

On June 7, 2014, I followed all requirements to receive $4.46 rebate for RESOLVE Laundry or Carpet Product by mailing the rebate offer, UPC code, and Walmart 06/04/2014, original receipt. Counting eight weeks, I should have received by rebate by Saturday, August 2nd, but no rebate has arrived. This false advertising is disturbing, so by submitting this comment, I trust it will get the attention I desire and my rebate is forthcoming!

I recently mailed into your company for a $3.00 rebate and shame on you, I mailed the receipt from the grocery store plus the correct rebate form and I just received a card that it was invalid purchase date. It was what the grocery store told me to send. Therefore it cost the cost of a stamp, over 50 cents for a $3.00 rebate and I still did not get the rebate. It’s enough to make me drink another brand of beer!

I want to share about my bad experience at Vons.
I went to Vons yestertoday to buy some cereal and other stuff. At the check out Steven ( a manager) was helping me. I had several coupons which scanned fine except for the coupons for yogurts. He had to put 5 of them manually . It took so much time for him to do so and the screen was going crazy. When he entered last 2 coupons I noticed that total increased. When I looked at the receipt, it showed that my personalized deal for cereal ($1 off when you spend $8 on cereal) was applied and then I was charged again the same $1. Also, I did not get personalized offer for strawberries (it should be $1.40 and I was charged $1.95 a $ 0.55 dif-ce) It was weird.
I showed the receipt to Steven and he said that I had too many coupons. What a perfect explanation for any case! I did not agree since I used just the right amount. He said that personalized deal is a manufacturer’s coupon and was voided because I had paper manufacturer’s coupons. He said that everything on J4U is manufacturer’s coupons. In reality some of coupons from “coupon center” are store coupons and some manufacturers, and all “personalized deals” are store coupons that should work with manuf. coupons. The lady at the service desk showed me in-ad coupons and told me that they are manufacturer’s coupons too! I tried to explain her the difference between store and manuf. coupons. They think that every coupon on J4U & in the Ad is a manufacturer coupon, but where are the store coupons then?! I tried to convince them and explain for about 20 minutes and left the store with a heavy heart. I could not believe I faced such an ignorance of the manager and the employee.
I wrote a complaint and they answered me that “We greatly appreciate your feedback” and “Please keep in mind that specific price offers (example: Item for $2.99) are typically store coupons. Manufacturer coupons will typically have an amount off offer” . I know that there is no need to guess, it is written on the coupon when we click on it ( in J4U)

Call the Safeway customer line and speak with a live person about all of this. Emphasize that you were unfairly overcharged: they should put credits on your store card to compensate. If needed, mention that there are other grocery stores in your area that you could switch your shopping to.
Also, of course, have them submit a complaint about the employees at this store. Just because this guy is a manager doesn’t mean he’s the store’s head manager, but if he is or if the lady at the service desk is, customer service should straighten them out about their wrong ideas. You should get an apology call about this from whoever the head manager is.
Also, it’s good to keep in mind that you can always go back to the store during a different shift with your receipt to speak to different employees to try to get fair treatment from someone who hopefully knows better and get back the money you’re owed. Again, emphasize that you were overcharged.
You also always have the option of just returning the products (whether you try to repurchase them to try to get the right discount is up to you).

    Hello 🙂

Thanks for featuring my last post with the Veev. I felt like a coupon rockstar for a moment 😉

Anyway, I have another Big Find! for you: $7.50 Money Maker with the purchase of 2 bottles of Veev VitaFrute.

I was wondering past the manager’s special section of Ralphs, and I stumbled upon a couple of diamonds in the rough. I noticed they had the old square bottles of VitaFrute bottles at reduced price. I bought one on the way home, knowing that there was a $5 iBotta rebate, but then I noticed there was another $9 iBotta rebate that I missed when I got home, so I went back to Ralphs on the way to the gym. All-in-all, Ralphs paid me to remove these bottles from their stock. You must scan the original UPC codes under the sticker, as the manager’s special code does not work.

You must make 2 different purchases. Here’s how to do it:
    Purchase #1
    $4.99 Purchase price
    – $5.00 Ibotta App Rebate (sign up using referral code: ijzrib)
+ 1500 Shrink App loyalty points (sign up using referral code: TLJASA for free $1 joining bonus)

    Purchase #2
    $4.99 Purchase price
    – $9.00 Ibotta App Rebate
    – $3.00 Ibotta App VitaFrute Cocktails Bonus I
    – $0.50 Ibotta App November Teamwork Bonus I
+ 1500 Shrink App loyalty points
    ———–
$7.50 Money Maker!! Grand Total & 3000 Shrink App Loyalty Points

    Happy couponing 🙂

Interesting factoid about CVS’s extracare phone line:

They have 3 or 4 call centers in different parts of the country, & you might get routed to any of them when you call in.

Why this is useful: at least one of these locations seems to be small – they only have 1 supervisor available at a time – and this seems to be the center with super unhelpful employees. The other locations have multiple supervisors at the same time; and the employees in general seem better trained, quicker on the uptake, and just plain more likely to actually want to help you.

This is info I just learned and dearly wish I’d known before. I’ve been a cvs shopper for ~6 years now & have had to call in many times about EB that didn’t print, and have had too many frustrating, waste-of-time calls with incompetent or stonewalling reps. Now I realize I could have just hung up, called back, and been likely to get a different call center and speak to different, more helpful employees and supervisors (although this may be more likely during the morning shifts when probably more centers/employees are working).

This morning I had an unbelievably frustrating, 57-min-long call (full of endless hold times) with an employee and supervisor at the bad call center, regarding the non-printing eb for Arnicare arthritis.
The supervisor refused to help me to the end, even after calling the store where I made the purchase (claiming the store manager told her they had no such sale).
I hung up feeling terribly defeated; but when I called the store itself just to make sure, I was told they do have that promo tag there, AND that they never received any such call from anyone at extracare.

When I called extracare again, I got a different call center and was quickly passed to a different & very nice and helpful supervisor who apologized profusely for my bad experience, promised to have it investigated, and issued me a $5 EB for my trouble – without even wasting my (or his) time trying to look up the sale in their system or calling the store!

Unfortunately, my phone died at the very end of the call (guess why [hint: 57-min prev. call]), and while I was calling back trying to find this guy again to finish the conversation and thank him, is how I got several agents to reveal to me that they have multiple call centers all over the country and some of them have dozens of supervisors present at the same time. And I could tell from speaking to a bunch of different reps that the ones at the bigger locations just seemed to be more competent & have better attitudes.

So to conclude this very long story: even if you get a refusal to solve your problem from a supervisor, don’t give up. Call again, try to get different employees/supervisors: there are apparently a ton of them & you’re likely to find someone who’ll listen and help, & it doesn’t hurt to politely let them know about your previous negative experience with the unhelpful agents.

Maybe you’ll need to try a few times to get a good call center, maybe you need to call next morning, but just because 1 supervisor won’t help it’s definitely not the end of the story, no matter what that person said.
And frankly, you might as well do your best to save yourself time by just hanging up on the ones who’re clearly unhelpful as soon as it becomes obvious, and calling again to speak to someone else.

One of the ways you can tell is the bad reps are for some reason perfectly willing to stay on the call literally for hours on end, wasting everyone’s time with endless excuses just to keep refusing you that eb no matter how small it is; while the reps from the good centers actually value their time and will usually agree to give you the eb in a reasonable time-frame if you explain your issue clearly and politely but also indicate you’re willing to insist on it if necessary.

Feel free to repost any/all of this info anywhere you think it might be helpful, guys 🙂

Greenbean, thank you for the post and yes, I will be reposting this. 🙂 Honestly, I think the reason that I have not had a bad CVS CS experience is that I always use my work email addy. Of course, my work email addy identifies that where I work and whatever I am talking about they just take care it b/c of my work email addy.

Hey Ros here are a few deals u might want to post. Thanks for your posts.

Walgreens Loreal sun care items are all 50% off, make sure to have the cashier scan to confirm. Prices are between $11.99 and $10.49, so they are ringing up at $5.49 & $5.95 .There is a $2 RP printable & insert q that can be used, as well as a SS $2 rebate and it is also counting for the $1 Loreal skincare rebate. I purchased the small squeeze bottle of the 50 SPF cooling gel variety. Paid $3.49 in store and will get back $2 Loreal suncare and the $1 Loreal skincare so .49. I am not certain if all varieties will count towards both, but scan in store using the ss app to check.

Dial & Loreal Advanced Haircare are free at CVS. Dial is 2/$7 buy one Dial men’s bodywash and one Dial lotion for $7 you get back a $1 ecb, use a $2/2 insert q and submit for 2 $1 ibotta rebates and 2 $1 mibisave rebates for $4 back in rebates & $1 ecb minus the $2 q makes them completely free.

    Buy 2 L’Oreal Advanced shampoo, conditioner 12.6 oz. 2/$9
    Use – 2 $2/1 L’Oreal Advanced Hair Q 7/26 RP
Pay $5 – Get back $4 Ecb submit for $1 SS making both free.

Forr anyone needing to complete the Unilever SS deal there’s a good deal to be had at Walmart with checkout 51 for a total of $6.25 back.
Purchase 1 each of St Ives product, ponds, simple and Noxzema products. Use two $3/2 q’s pay $11 plus tax in store, submit for checkout 51 offers which total $5.25 in rebates, you will also get two $.50 bonuses for purchasing 4 items thru checkout 51. Submit $17+ towards the $20 SS offer & you will receive $6 in ss rebates. All cash back in your pocket without the hassle of store rewards. So nearly free. Enjoy and please forgive any typos.

I’ve got a deal for you that I haven’t seen posted anywhere. My Costco has the Veev Acai Vodka at $14.97, with an instant rebate of $6, making it $8.97 after rebate. There is an ibotta offer of $7 and a shrink rebate of $5, equals about a $3 money maker. The Vita Frute cocktail also has an instant rebate making it $4.97 at Costco, I have an ibotta rebate for $2 making it $3.97, not as good but still a deal!

Marcella, the % off only works on full price items. It will not work on any items that has a price stated in the ad even if it’s their regular price. It will not work BOGO or BOGO50%.

For example, you can use on the Physicians Formula buy 2 get $10 Extra Bucks or Revlon buy $12 get $4 ECB or Garnier Whole Blends get $1 ECB or Colgate buy $20 get $10 ECB. HTH
