CVS $5 Challenge 12/2

The challenge is to spend no more than $5 out of pocket at CVS using coupons and EBs (Extra Bucks). Make sure that you have a CVS loyalty card and scan your CVS card at a CVS scanner prior to taking your goodies to the cash register b/c you may save more money! Also, hopefully, you have bought a couple of the Sunday newspaper to get you going. See my previous post for a full preview of the CVS deals.

My CVS $5 scenarios:

Scenario #1

Buy 1 All liquid 28-32 loads, Small & Mighty 32 loads or Mighty Pacs 24ct $3.99
Use -$1 All Liquid, Powder or Mighty Packs RP 11/11

Total after coupon used = $2.99

EB Earned = $1 Extra Bucks

Scenario #2

Buy 1 Dial Hello Kitty Body Wash $3.99  (*if sold @ CVS)
Use -$1 Extra Bucks (from scenario #1)
Use $1 off Dial Hello Kitty body wash printable (zip 90210)

Total after coupons used = $1.99

EB Earned = $1 Extra Bucks

Scenario #3

Buy 1 All liquid 28-32 loads, small & mighty 32 loads or mighty pacs 24ct. $3.99
Use -$1 Extra Bucks (from scenario #2)
Use -$1 All liquid, powder or mighty pacs laundry detergent RP 11/11

Total after coupons used = $1.99

EB Earned = $1 Extra Bucks

Total Value = $11.97 – OOP doing all scenarios = $7.97 with $1 in EBs remaining! You can do one or two of the scenarios and get a great deal!
