CVS $5 Challenge

The challenge is to spend no more than $5 out of pocket at CVS using coupons and EBs (Extra Bucks). Make sure that you have a CVS loyalty card and scan your CVS card at a CVS scanner prior to taking your goodies to the cash register b/c you may save more money! Also, hopefully, you have bought a couple of the Sunday newspaper to get you going. See my previous post for a full preview of the CVS deals.

My CVS $5 senarios:

Senario #1

Buy 2 Dial Bar Soap 2-3pk $3.76
Use -$2/2 Dial Bar Soap Printable

Total = $1.76

EB Earned = $1 Dial Soap

Senario #2 Give $3/2 FIRST then the BOGO

Buy 2 Pantene Pro-V Hair Products $6.97
Use -$1 Extra Bucks (from senario #1)
Use -$3/2 Pantene (P&G 5/13)
Use -$3.49 BOGO Pantene (P&G 4/29)

Total after coupon used = $0.00

EBs Earned = $1 Pantene Extra Buck

Senario #3:

Buy 1 Crest Pro-Health Clinical Gum Protection, Plaque Control toothpaste 4 oz, Multi-Protection or Clinical rinse 8-8.4 oz $3.39

Use -$1 Extra Bucks (from senario #2)
Use -$.25 Crest (P&G 4/29) or
Use -$.25 Crest Rinse (P&G 4/29)

Total after coupons used = $2.14

EB Earned = $2 Crest Extra Bucks

Total Value = $14.12– OOP doing both senarios = $3.90 with $1 and $2 in EBs remaining! You can do one or two of the senarios and get a great deal!
