CVS $5 Challenge

The challenge is to spend no more than $5 out of pocket at CVS using coupons and EBs (Extra Bucks). Make sure that you have a CVS loyalty card and scan your CVS card at a CVS scanner prior to taking your goodies to the cash register b/c you may save more money! Also, hopefully, you have bought a couple of the Sunday newspaper to get you going. See my previous post for a full preview of the CVS deals.

My CVS $5 senarios:

Senario #1

Buy 1 Colgate Total 4-4.2oz. MaxFresh, MaxClean 6.0z. or 2-in-1 4.6 oz. $2.74
Use -$.75/1 Colgate (SS 6/3)

Total = $1.99

EB Earned = $1 Extra Bucks

Senario #2

Buy 1 Men, Ladies Speed Stick or Stainguard $2.99
Use -$1 Extra Bucks (from senario #1)
Use -$.75/1 Speedstick Printable

Total after coupon used = $1.24

EBs Earned = $2 Speedstick Extra Buck

Senario #3

Buy 1 Oral B Cross Action Power Brush $5.99
Use -$1 any Toothbrush CRT (printing this week from the scanner)
Use -$2 Extra Bucks (from senario 2)

Total after coupon used = $2.99

EB Earned = $5

Total Value = $11.72 – OOP doing both senarios = $6.22 with $5 in EBs remaining! You can do one or two of the senarios and get a great deal!
