CVS $5 Challenge – 3/31

CVSThe challenge is to spend no more than $5 out of pocket at CVS using coupons and EBs (Extra Bucks). Make sure that you have a CVS loyalty card and scan your CVS card at a CVS scanner prior to taking your goodies to the cash register b/c you may save more money! Also, hopefully, you have bought a couple of the Sunday newspaper to get you going. See my previous post for a full preview of the CVS deals.

My CVS $5 scenarios: (CVS Preview 3/24– 3/30)

Scenario #1

Buy 2 Hall’s cough drops, 17-30ct $3
Use -$1/2 Halls cough drops, 20-30 ct. printable

Total after coupon used = $2

EBs Earned = $1 Extra bucks

Scenario #2

Buy 1 Listerine Advanced, Total Care, UltraClean 500ml, Original, Cool Mint or FreshBurst 1 liter $3.99
Use -$1 Extra Bucks (from scenario #1)
Use -$1 off Listerine mouthwash, 1 L +, excl whitening, SS 2/24

Total after coupon used = $1.99

EB Earned = $1 Extra Bucks

Scenario #3

Buy 1 Pond’s towelettes 30ct or facial cream 9.5-10.1oz $5.99
Use -$1 Extra Bucks (from scenario #2)
Use -$1 off Pond’s cream, towelettes or cleansing item, excl trial size, RP 3/24

Total after coupons used = $3.99

EB Earned = $2 Extra Bucks

Total Value = $12.98 – OOP doing all scenarios = $7.98 with $2 in EBs remaining! You can do one or two of the scenarios and get a great deal!
