CVS Updated Return Policy

I happen to catch on CVS’s Facebook page that CVS has an updated their CVS Return Policy because a customer was complaining about buying expired vitamins that she could not return.

In my opinion, the Store Manager should have used common sense and resolved this matter with the customer by offering her a replacement because through no fault of her own that CVS had expired products on their shelves.  I’d definitely be filing a complaint with the State Attorney General’s office and the Better Business office because no one can afford to loose $20.

The new CVS Return Policy went into effect 3/25/20.

    I think if someone buys something bad that is just going to have to get thrown away that the store should do a return or exchange. The product is not going back on the floor to contaminate anyone so it should be okay.

      Exactly! The store should accept the loss. Can you imagine if the store sold expired baby formula? With people unable to work, they cannot afford to loose $20 out of pocket.
