  This works exactly as described. I broke it down into 3 separate transactions of 3 bars (total was $2.97 on each receipt) because I wanted to make sure SB credited correctly (I had issues both with the Las Palmas and Clorox recently). Don’t grab Baby Ruth’s this time at Walgreens, they’re not part of the 99 cent sale (at least they weren’t at my store).

    The Baby Ruth at my Walgreens are part of the 99 cent sale. The Baby Ruth at my store didn’t have the sale price marked but when I bought three,, it rang up to $2.97 when I check out.

      Yes, the Baby Ruth is included in the $0.99 sale…although, when I went into my Walgreens none of the candy bars was tagged for the sale. Since the pandemic, at least in my area, the Walgreens are no longer 24 hour stores and they close are only open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and with staffing shortages, they are not doing a good job of tagging deals. They really should have electronic tags at the stores and flip a switch at midnight of the new week with new or same pricing.
