Yesterday, I posted about there was some sort of glitch when I was trying to redeem my points for the Kellogg’s Family Rewards (KFR) program.
I have only been participating regularly in the KFR program in the last month so only had 585 points. I had been signed up for the program for along time and then I forgot about it.
Anyways, I decided to redeem 500 points since I know there will be allot of food deals over the next six weeks and those high denomination coupons will come in quite nicely.
I had never redeemed points before so I didn’t know what to expect. I thought I had remembered that they were printable coupons but then they were asking for my mailing address. The next thing, I know I get an email with a link to redeem the coupons by printing them.
For some reason, I cannot print some of the Red Plum coupons since they update their software b/c it doesn’t recognize I have JAVA and this was the case when I went to print the first coupon so I go to Chrome (another internet browser).
I log back into my email account, click the link and it says “already viewed”. Yes, I know that but I didn’t print a single coupon. Now, I am hot b/c I redeemed almost all my points and now I cannot print the coupons. I get on the phone to CS and she tell me another way to print the coupon, she walks me through the instructions and I can print all but one link, the first link.
The CS then says there’s been a reported glitch with the coupons and she credits me 200 points for my inconvenience (YAY!!!!!).
When I go to my printer to pick up the coupons, 3 Kellogg’s Cereals and a Chez-Its coupons printed. Hey, that not what I ordered! I decide to wait to later to print the coupons again since she says the problem should be fixed later.
I go back to the links and guess what???? I was able to print the links again and I ended getting the following coupons for only 500 points!
(3) $1.50/1 Kellogg’s Cereal
(3) $1.50/1 Keebler Crackers or Chez-Its
(2) $1.50/1 Pop-Tarts
I ended up with 8 high denominational coupons from a silly glitch!!! They all have different pin numbers (upper right hand next to the expiration date). So, you know that I am loving the Kellogg’s Family Rewards program. 🙂
