I Closed my Savingstar Account

A few days ago, I posted about SavingStar is Shutting Down November 30, 2020 and on October 1 st, I requested my funds because I had more than $20 in my account and I received those funds in my PayPal account without an issue.

Today, I went into my original Savingstar account under my profile, at the very bottom, and I requested to close my account.  It took me less than two minutes and I received an account closure confirmation email almost immediately.

I have $6.75 in my second account and my plan to get my funds up to $20 and cash it out also without having to sign up for a second coupons.com.

More than likely, I will purchase $75 in Allegra allergy meds and earn $15 rebate and call it the day.  I use Allegra every single day and, although, I Completed the Rite Aid Allergy Rebate back in May of this year, I am down to my last 70 count bottle which is already opened and in use and two 15 count.  I will be getting the Allegra at the Walmart since the rebate apps don’t be messing with

Do we really need to close our accounts by request? I thought they would do it automatically. Please advice.

Jess, you do not need to close your account. I closed my Savingstar account bc I used the same email for my SwagBucks account and now I should start getting the offers in my SB account vice the S* account.

Yeah, the same here, so I should close mine as well. Thanks for the advice!
