I Ordered the $10 Walmart eGift Card

Oh my goodness, I have a bunch of errands to run today for things I had not anticipated but I did order a $10 Walmart gift card from MyPoints.  I love how I can add the gift card to my Walmart account and I no longer need to print the gift card. Easy Peasy.  I received the points from the for the Ziploc deal and the Kiwi deal.  On the Ziploc, I also submitted for  $5 Visa eGift Card rebate again, using a different browser and email addy.

Please, keep in mind that MyPoints points are always about 40% less in value than SwagBucks.  For example, the Kiwi is for 1,500 points ($15), whereas, MyPoints the 1,500 is only worth $9.

Always, always, always submit for SwagBucks first and after your receipt has been approved then submit for MyPoints because technically, we are supposed to submit for one or the other rebates.

Also, remember that if you are going to use a Walmart gift card via Walmart Pay, and you are redeeming Ibotta, Checkout 51 or Savingstar rebate, you must get a printed receipt.

I literally used $5 Visa eGift card to pay on my cellphone bill. You can also add the $5 Visa eGift card to your PayPal or Amazon account.

Is it possible to get a printed receipt when using Walmart Pay? We never get it 🙁

Jessica, you can tell the cashier that you need a printed receipt for a rebate. I typically go into my Walmart account on the app “My Account” and “Payment Method” deselect the gift cards that I do not want to use, leaving only $5 or $10 gift card for Walmart Pay and I’ll grab a candy bar, chips or whatever we need and pay a bit out of pocket so that I can get a receipt.

Pay with a penny or nickle or dime (I try to use up my pennies for this) or some small amount out of cash and then use Walmart Pay. A receipt will print as long as you do that before paying with Walmart Pay. I am getting them trained at my store, but if they look at you funny you can always explain that you want a printed receipt and this is the only way to do it.

Jennifer, wow, I didn’t realize that we can pay something in cash and then scan Walmart Pay for the gift card. Thanks! 🙂
