Today, towards the end of my daily walk, I decided to get off of my usual walking trail and walk along a hilly part of the park and I tripped over a rock that was covered by leaves. As I was falling, I stiffened my body and I slid into the fall with both of my hands out and trashing my left knee.
It was an extremely hard fall. Both of the palms of my hands are scraped up and my left knee, I scraped the skin off about the size of a silver dollar. When I was younger, I could have taken that fall, dust myself off and kept it pushing. It seems that once you hit 50’s, you don’t bounce back like you use to do. Needless to say, my hands, arms and knee are sore and hurting.
I took an Advil PM (it’s all I had in my stockpile, I must given the rest away) and I will probably be taking a long afternoon nap!
