I’m Still Not Sure…

I’m still not absolutely sure that the +Up Rewards have been limited, yet?  There are a few bloggers out there that have a relationship with a Rite Aid PR guy and I’m pretty sure he would have given a heads up to at least put the word out about this new change to the +Up Program. 

Let me be clear.  No, I don’t have any sort of relationship with the Rite Aid folks and they do not filter any info to me.  I wish they did. LOL

My thinking is that this is some sort of programming glitch.  It’s just my opinion but I think it’s glitch. 

If you do not get your +Up Reward, call RA Corporate at 1-800-748-3248 and report that you did not get the +Up Reward and they should send you another in the mail.

    Zegrid $7 +UP limited to one. I tried to do in two transactions at different stores and the second did not trigger. It's ok though, because it was $10 and I stacked three coupons (In Ad, Video Values, and manufacturer) for $10 so still got for free in the end.

    9 Lives canned cat food triggered $1 +UP in two different transactions though, so either that one is not limited or may be allowed to go to two times. I haven't tried a third time just yet.

    What I'm gathering is that free after ups are limited to one but the crest and pantene since they are not free after ups but after ups and coupon can be done multiple times. What ya think?

    I think there's a glitch, as MsBenjamin was able to get the Zegerid $7 +UP in two separate transactions, and yet I only got one in the first and none in the second. If they advertise one per transaction, they should give one per transaction, otherwise they should advertise the limits as other stores do.

    I will probably call their customer service on Monday and ask about this. If I don't get the $7 fine, but then they need to inform people if the +UP limits. I usually never get more than two of any +UP deal anyways (well except those Crest white strips).

    I realize that people like us work the deals as much as possible, but it's not a bad thing for the companies at all, as we try these new products and tell our friends about them. 🙂

    On both cards A and B, I got the Zegerid twice. Yesterday, on Card A, I got the $7 +Up on back-to-back transactions.

    On Card B, I got (1) $7 +Up on Saturday and (1) $7 +Up today.

    I haven't sought another Zegerid since I know there is a limit placed on it.

    What a mess with the +Ups!!!!!!!!!!

    OK. Maybe I will call them tomorrow and see what they say. The cashier did back it out and then entered it back in, as one of my manufacturer coupons said I did not purchase the product, when I did, but what the cashier did fixed that and then the coupon scanned, but then I got no +Up afterward.

    Unbelievable… I just called their customer service line and received a call that they had no customer service at this time and to try calling back later. Wow. So like Rite Aid. I really do hate this store, for their complete lack of customer service 98% of the time.

    I finally got through at about 4:30 pm and the guy who answered asked for my card number and the store, cashier and transaction number, and said he had to submit a "downtime form" …. I had to ask him to repeat the first word about six times, because I did not understand what he was saying. I am still not sure what that means. Downtime form? Huh? I have no idea if the $7 will be mailed to me or not.

    This all happened in the store that gives me utter GRIEF about using coupons, so I really didn't want to deal with it in that store at all.

    I'd call back again to ensure that they are gonna send you a +Up Rewards. It sounds like they pretty much got slammed with calls today and maybe some calls went overseas to be answered? I had heard that others had spoken to non-English speakers when they called RA on Monday.

    Call back and hopefully you can get someone you understand. LOL

    I understood everything else he said, just not "downtime" form. I didn't know why they called the form that or why he had to tell me something that I really didn't need to know. I just wanted to know about getting the +UP. He took downall my information and said after review, they would send in the mail. How knows though.

    DMC, let us know if they send you a gift card or an Ups. I would rather have the gift card since you can use that anytime, whereas, the Ups has an expiration date.

    They sent me two Rite Aid coupons – one for $2 off and one for $5 off. Both exp 9/30/10, but I will probably use this week. I am not going to ask for the two $5 Garnier +UPs I didn't get, even though that was prior to their new limitations on +UPs.
