Love The Way You Lie

After all this Mel Gibson stuff came out, then Eminem came out with his “Love The Way You Lie” song and it was assume that it was about domestic violence, although, he has never acknowledged that fact.

It is a thought provoking song and video.

I have been waiting for the video to come out and I thought that you’d be interested, too! I had no idea that it was Rihanna that was doing the singing on this song.

Two very talented artists. This song and video really got to me when I watched it – Had a tear rolling down my cheek, which surprised me actually. For this song and video to do that, it's pretty powerful. I've been there in my past and made it through, and while it seems like so long ago now that I almost forgot… you never really forget it all. It took me five and a half years to get out, and years after to recover. I am likely still single now, as I am so hesitant to go through anything so addictively abusive like that ever again. I use the word addictive, because there was always something to pull me back.

DMC, I, too, thought the video was moving and provocative. It actually made you think.

It's amazing how we have put something in the past but it's always with us and it makes us who we are today.

Maria, the song is good. I always liked Em but Rihanna is not my fav. However, she does an excellent job on this song. I guess this is her response to the whole Chris Brown thing? Good for her. CB, that guy is a looser and so young. Sad.
