You know, sometimes I am in awe at how much free food that we get and I look back to when I was a young, working single mom that made too much for food stamps and the state was too backlogged to chase down fathers who paid their child support intermittently. Being poor was really the catalyst to me going back to college to get my degrees. Of course, back then you didn’t need to take on all of the back breaking financial debt.
I’ve digressed because this post is supposed to be about the check that I received for $3.07 for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch we got in September at Vons or Albertsons. Reading back through that post, I said $1.57 after coupons and the zip advantage that since I specifically said “$1.57” that I must have done the deal first to see how everything would fall out (the final cost) after the coupons and the zip.
I then got back a $1 from Savingstar for buying two General Mills cereals and then I submitted for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch rebate when you buy Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal and they were kind enough to send me $3.07!
