Money Matters

Wow, March, was a busy month in the Couponing World and at my regular 9 to 5 job.  We also had the fantastic Covergirl and Clairol hair coupons that kept us running for those Money Makers.

And speaking of those Money Makers, I believe there was a Money Makers every week in March.  One of the things that I switched up in March but really I began doing it February is how I do the IB rebates.  I learn to  redeem just the required redemptions, such as, 6, 10 or 15 and then I wouldn’t submit anything else until another bonus rebate appeared.  I also did not max out a particular offer unless it was something that I really, really, wanted, i.e., Dove, M&M’s and Skittles Easter candy deal at CVS (I took those to the office for meetings!).

Every month is a new start for IB and S* rebates and every Thursday CO51 tends to add new rebate offers.

For a long time, I did not understand how SwagBucks and MyPoints worked so I didn’t participate in their rebate offers but I believe, it was a reader, Meryl, that kept nudging me about SB and MP and I haven’t looked backed!  In the month of March, I received the following from SB and MP:

SwagBucks – $115

$50 Visa
$25 PayPal
$5 Walmart
(2) $10 Visa
$10 Visa – Ordered
$5 Walmart – Order

MyPoints – $50

$50 PayPal – Ordered

I received a check for $33.70 from the Kombucha settlement from Whole Foods. I received $132.76 from IB, $43.65 from CO51 and $47.75 from S*.
