I have learned that it’s best to plan your shopping trips when you are planning to use coupons. Normally, on Saturdays I look at various blogs to see what are the best deals and then plot and plan my shopping trips to CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Target or even Rite-Aid.
For me, there isn’t much at CVS that I am interested in using my Extra Bucks. I’ll save my Extra Bucks until the Febreze sale at CVS starting on 7/5/09. I will swing by CVS to check out these Green Dot prepaid cards b/c you get $5 for buying one. But that’s all I am interested in at CVS.
Now, Walgreens is a different story. I am going to have to do two transactions so I can get the biggest bang for my Register Rewards (RR). In San Diego, we are only allowed to use one RR per transaction.
I only buy what I can use. Below is what I plan to buy at Walgreens this week:
Right Guard/Dry Idea Deodorant $2.99 get $2 RR
Use -$3RR Aquafresh toothpaste
Roots of Nature Strengthening Oil Moisturizer $6.99 get $5 RR
Use -$5RR Kerasal Exfoiliating Moisturizer
2pk Smart Mouthwash $5.99
Use -$2 Smart Mouthwash HERE
Purex 3in1 detergent BOGO $8.99
Use (2) -$2 Purex 3in1 Q (Smart Source 6/14)
