So, I ran back down to Walgreens this evening to do the Suave deo deal. There was plenty of the deo to be had. My calculations were right on the money. The Suave deodorants are pricing at about $1.79 w/the 25% off Suave. I was thinking but I wasn’t sure before I did the deal that the Suave deo was regularly price at $1.99.
I bought 8 Suave “Fresh” 24 hr deo $14.xx (I can’t find my receipt!)
Used -$4 Register Reward
Used -$1 Suave deo (RP 8/2)
Total out of pocket after coupons & RRs = $9.xx
RR Earned = $10
You are asking yourself why I decided to do the Suave deal first instead of the Kellogg’s deal? The Kellogg’s deal only produces a $5RR. Doing the Suave deal first allows me to roll that $10 RR to the $10 Kellogg’s deal and get a $5RR and qualify for the $10 Kellogg’s rebate.
I had a comment earlier reminding me that to qualify for the Kellogg’s rebate you must buy the $10 worth Kellogg’s on one single transaction.
