First, I went to Walgreens to used those expiring Register Rewards (RR). This week, there no RR deals that I was interested in rolling my RRs on. However, I did some cleaning supplies and I had a $5RR and a $3RR = $8RRs. Unfortunately, none of the cleaning supplies were on sale. Also, in San Diego, we can only use one RR per transaction so I did two back-to-back transactions. Here are my gets at Walgreens:
Bought 1 Arm & Hammer Scrub Free Bathroom Cleaner Spray 32 oz $3.79
Total After using RR = $.79 plus $.33 tax = $1.12
Bought 1 Windex Glass Cleaner 32.5 oz $4.79
Bought 1 Apothecary Berry Lip Shine $.62
Total After using RR = $.41 plus $.47 tax = $.88
I didn’t know this before but I had to have items worth more than the $5RR so I used the $.62 Lip Shine as a filler item.
So, I spent $2 altoghter on both transactions for Arm & Hammer cleaner, Windex and a Lip Shine!
CVS is right across the street so I headed there next. Here are my gets at CVS:
Bought 1 Febreze Noticeables $6.50
Bought 1 Febreze Air Effects $3
Bought 1 Febreze Fabric Refresher $5
Used -$4 Fabreze Noticeables (Proctor & Gamble 7/5)
Used -$3 BOGO Purchase one (1) Febreze Fabric Refresher, Receive Febreze Air Effects Free (Proctor & Gamble 7/5)
Used -4 Extra Bucks (EB)
Total After Coupons & EBs Used = $3.50 plus $.92 tax = $4.42
EBs Earned = $5
Proft = $1.50
After everything was said and done at CVS and Walgreens, I had an out of pocket of $6.52 including tax and I got the Febreze Noticeables, Febreze Air Effects, Febreze Fabric Refresher, Arm & Hammer cleaner, Windex and a Lip Shine. Plus, I received a $5 EB which makes my total just $1.42 for EVERYTHING. I really got some thrifty deals today!
