My Trip Back to CVS

IMG-20130119-01022It’s almost 8 o’clock at night and 65 degrees…nope, I didn’t even need a jacket for my trip CVS this evening.  I went back to CVS to finish off the Duracell for the $25 Rebate and get my last two $10 CVS Cash Cards.  I didn’t feel like setting up and taking a pic of the sodas and toilet paper…y’all have seen that before! 🙂  I just took a pic of the batteries and Glade.

I broke my transaction up into two to get the biggest bang for my buck but I’ll just be doing one post in order to save time.

Here are my gets at CVS:

Bought 5 Batteries $29.95
Bought 3 Coke 12pk $10.74
Bought 1 Scott Bath Tissue $7.49
Bought 1 Glade PlugIns $4

Total = $52.18

Used (2) -$4/$20 CVS Coupon
Used (5) -$2 Duracell RP
Used (3) -$4.99 FREE Coke 12pk (My Coke Rewards)
Used -$1.25 Scott Bath Tissue Printable
Used -$2 CVS Scott Bath Tissue Printable
Use -$2 Glade PlugIns Printable
Used -$3 Extra bucks

Total after coupons used = $10.96 (paid w/gift card)

EBs Earned = (2) $10 CVS Cash Card

MIR Earned = $15 P&G Duracell Rebate

Notes: Again, at CVS all FREE item coupons and BOGO coupons auto-deducts at the max value unless the cashier manually reduces the coupon. My CVS trips earlier today only qualified me for a $10 Rebate but I needed close to $30 to get the $25 Rebate which I did tonight!

Did you $2 CVS coupons beep? Mine did, and the store manager refused to take them. So I told her I wasn’t buying anything then. I had to drive further to another store that did take them, but since I had back pain today really bad, I was not happy she gave me grief about CVS’s own coupons and put me though more trouble.

It did beep and the cashier pushed through.

Krazy Coupon Lady site said it was a manufacturer coupon, but it starts with a “4” as all CVS store coupons do.

Also, when I hit another store, I tried the CVS coupons first, before the manufacturer coupons, to see if they would go through as manufacturer… they STILL BEEPED – NOT ONE WENT THROUGH … meaning CVS had a problem with their own store coupons.

Luckily the other store I went to had a more reasonable manage who pushed them through.

I did not see the “limit one per visit” or even know that was on the coupon until I read Krazy Coupon Lady tonight. Still… not ONE even went through.
