My Trip to CVS…

As I posted earlier, I love those little Caliber scissors so I got up first thing this morning to go get them…LOL.  These little scissors are perfect for cutting out coupons.

The weather is once again overcast and I think that the high, in San Diego, is suppose to be 66 degrees.  However, I was chatting it up with the cashier (I’m not a native San Diegan) and she told me that back in the 70’s or 80’s that they had similar weather for the whole summer but the following winter they had 80 degree weather so it will be interesting to see what kind of winter we have here.

There was plenty of stock of the scissors but not so much of the pens.

Anyways, here are my gets at CVS:

Bought 1 Caliber 5″ Soft Handle Scissors $.99
Bought 1 Paper Mate 1.2 Pens 10ct $.99

Total = $1.98

EBs Earned = $1.98

Cost = 0.00 after Extra Bucks

Notes:  I did this transaction on my new CVS card.  I’m starting out small and I will build up my Extra Bucks on this card…just like I did after the fire destroyed my previous Extra Bucks and I had to start all over.  I don’t plan on doing any more CVS this week…unless there is some sort of secret deal that I can’t pass up! LOL

    The 5" scissors are not located near the other scissors (the 7" and 8" ones) and are located by the crayons and children's markers and such. I almost left the store thinking they were out of the 5" ones and then turned around and saw them in the other area.

    The store had no more pens out, but the manager went in the back and found some for me, so never hurts to ask if they have any in the back. 🙂

    Yeah, I had to look for the scissors but they were right around the corner.

    Strange that they did not have the pens out and you had to ask for them. My store only had like 4 packages of the pens so they maybe had been put out, yet.

    BTW… I got the fushia colors scissors too. 🙂

    The fushia was so darn cute!
