My Trip to CVS 2/24

IMG-20130224-01068The way that I had my transaction planned I had to find everything in order to use my $10/$50 but my calculations were off so I ended up using a $4/$20. Initially, I could not find the Schick Shave Gel but I walked around a bit and I found a special display with three cans left on the shelf and I grabbed two.

Here are my gets at CVS:

Bought 4 Carmex Lip Balms $6.68
Bought 2 Schick Hydro Sensitive Shave Gel $8.58
Bought 1 Poise wash 7.3 oz, towelettes or fresheners 20-24ct $3.99
Bought 1 Thermacare Back Patch 1ct $3.49
Bought 2 Crest Complete Whitening with Scope 2.7oz $5.74
Bought 2 Neutrogena Hand Creme $10.58
Bought 2 Colgate Pro-Relief Toothpaste $9.98

Total = $49.04

Used -$4/$20 CVS Coupon
Used (2) -$1/2 Carmex Lip Balm Printable (on
Used (2) -$.75 Shcick Hydro Gel SS 2/24
Used -$3 Poise Product SS 2/10
Used -$3 CVS Poise Product Printable
Used -$3 any Thermacare Printable excl Trial Size (NLA)
Used -$.50 Crest Toothpaste (from some packaging from awhile ago)
Used -$5/2 Neutrogena SS 2/24
Used (2) -$.50 Colgate SS 2/24
Used -$24 in Extra bucks

Total after coupons used = $2.04 (paid w/gift card)

EBs Earned = $34.49 – $5 Neutrogena, $8 Schick, $3.49 Thermacare, $1 Poise, $8 Colgate, $6 Crest and $3 Carmex

Notes: I was not suppose to use the $3 Thermacare coupon since it excludes Trial Size but I forgot to pull it out of my stack before handing it to the cashier. All of the coupons scanned without beeping so I had overage from the Poise coupons. I should have grabbed a newspaper so I could have used the $10/$50 but there was a line behind me but I am happy with my transaction!

That’s is what I like about your posts. You tell it like it is!! We all mess up deals now & then, but learn from each one & still come out ahead.

Patti, most of the times I am in a hurry. Normally when I am shopping I have of other things hat I go to do. If I know the cashier I just hand them all my coupons including the ECBs. Probably the only time that I am not in a hurry is when I am on vacation! 🙂
