My Trip to CVS…

Yesterday, around lunchtime, I drove up to North County to see an old friend.  I hate when we change jobs and we see our old friends less and less.  It’s sad.

Anyways, I had saw a CVS up there before so I brought my coupons and EBs with me.  It’s always strange to me going to a new store b/c I don’t know where anything is located and some of the stores were former Longs so the set-up is a bit different.

Since I knew that the Gillette Fusion ProGlide had a limit of 2.  I picked another one and this store had the 14ct Prevacid.

Here are my gets at CVS:

Bought 1 Doritos Nacho $.99
Bought 1 Gillette Fusion PowerGlide Razor $9.97
Bought 1 Prevacid 14ct $12.99

Total = $23.95

Used -$5/$15
Used -$4 Gillette Fusion (P&G 6/6)
Used -$6 Prevacid Printable
Used -$4.99 Extra Bucks

Total after coupons and EBs used = $3.96

EBs Earned = $6 ($5 Gillette, $1 Doritos)

Profit = $2.04

Notes:  I miscalculated my transaction and the cashier was new so I couldn’t use the $6 Prevacid CRT!  She handed back my CRT so I’ll be able to do the Prevacid deal again!!!

The thing with the Gillette Fusion ProGlide is that you have to buy them in TWO separate transactions otherwise you will not get the $5 EB for each.  I have no clue why this is.  So, don’t go trying to buy 2 Razors in one transaction b/c you will only receive one $5 EB.

    Either that or return the Prevacid and do a re-do! 🙂

    Aaaah, but since I do have another $6 Prevacid MFQ…I can get a second one for .99 cents. Not a bad deal.
