My Trip to CVS – 3/31

IMG-20130331-01121I almost everything I bought on Sunday was filler items to use my $5/$30 CVS Coupon. The three freebie coupons that I used yesterday all expired on 3/31. This CVS store had no Pepsi Next 2 Liter so I was allowed to get the regular Diet Pepsi and the coupon did not beep. I bought the Brookside Chocolate for the overage. I got overage on almost all the coupons except for the Nivea Lip Balm coupon b/c that coupon beeped for price and the cashier reduced it down to $3.49 since it beeped for price.

Here are my gets at CVS:

Bought 1 Clear Scalp $4.99
Bought 1 Renu Eye Solution $7.99 (Raincheck)
Bought 1 Rescue Sleep $8.99
Bought 1 Suave Professional $3
Bought 1 Nivea Lip Care $3.49
Bought 1 Pepsi Next 2 Liter $1.35 (in CA CRV)
Bought 1 Brookside Chocolate $2.99

Total = $32.80

Used -$5/$30 CVS Coupon
Used -$4.99 Clear Scalp
Used -$3.50 FREE Suave Professional (home mailer)
Used -$3.49 FREE Nivea Lip Care (home mailer)
Used -$1.89 FREE Pepsi Next 2 Liter (home mailer)
Used -$2 Brookside SS 2/24 (from eBay)
Used -$2.50 CVS Brookside Printable
Used -$9 in extra Bucks

Total after coupons used = $.43

Ibotta Earned: $1.25 Clear Scalp

EBs Earned = $13.99 – $5 Complete and $8.99 Rescue Sleep

Notes: This is transaction is why you get Rainchecks!  I used the Renu Raincheck as a filler item to use the $5/$30.  Yes, the Extra Bucks has to be manually printed but its no proglem.  I had no coupons for the Renu nor the Rescue Sleep so I need the overage from the other items to make this transaction work for me.   Allot people were in CVS buying pre-made Easter Baskets for an arm & a leg without using a CVS card…crazy.
