Yesterday, I was laughing at myself b/c I kinda screwed up on my Rite Aid trip. I knew that I was suppose get the Sauve Professional…but there was a lady standing there trying to decide which shampoo to get and I got impatient and just grabbed a Sauve shampoo and conditoner…not realizing that I had gotten the Sauve Naturals which did not generate a $1 +Up. Oh but I really screwed b/c I also bought the wrong Febreze…but it all kinda worked out when you see my senario b/c I had overage from the FREE Sauve coupon!
I actually ran over to Rite Aid b/c I realized that I still had a $3 Motrin +Up Rewards that is gonna expire 7/10. I didn’t even realized that even had a $3 Motrin +Up left in my stash. So, I kinda made up a senario on-the-go…I couldn’t think of a way to reach $5/$20 let alone $5/$25.
Here are my gets at Rite Aid:
Bought 1 Diet Coke 20oz $1.32 (including CRV)
Bought 2 Sauve Naturals 22.5oz $3.50
Bought 1 Febreze Refresher w/bonus $4.79
Bought 1 Febreze Air Effects $2.49
Bought 1 Crest w/Scope Toothpaste 4oz $2.69
Total = $14.79
Used (2) -$3 Sauve (mailer, maybe Facebook?)
Used -$2.49 BOGO Febreze (P&G 7/4)
Used -$1 Crest w/Scope Toothpaste 4oz (maybe from the Crest Whitestrips box?)
Used -$5 in +Up Rewards
Total after coupons and +Ups used = .30 cents
SCRs Earned = $3.69 ($1 Febreze, $2.69 Crest)
Cost = $1.61
Notes: I learned earlier that the FREE Sauve Q takes off $3 automatically when scanned!!!!!!!!!!!! If I would have bought the correct products, I would have made a small profit but it is what it is. But whenever I can flip the +Up into SCRs is all good in the hood. On Sunday, I plan to do the Neutrogena MIR since that when the rebate period starts on that one.
