My Trip to Rite Aid…

I had almost forgotten about the $2 J&J In-Ad coupons and today was the last day that we can use that coupon in Southern Calif.  So, I needed to run to Rite Aid.

I walked around in the store looking for the Colonaid but there was none to be had.  It’s look like I’ll have to do some checking around at other Rite Aid to find this product tomorrow.  Our RA sales always starts on Fridays and end on Thursday, here in Southern Calif.

Here are my gets at Rite Aid:

Bought 1 Coppertone Sensitive Skin SPF 50 8oz $8.39
Bought 2 J&J Band-aid non-stick pads 2×3 10ct $5.58 (reg price $3.49)
Bought 2 Lysol No Touch Hand Soap Kit $14.99 BOGO

Total = $28.96

Used -$5/$20
Used -$2 Coppertone In-Ad Q
Used -$2 Copper MFQ (found in May Safeway Booklet)
Used (2) -$2 J&J Band-Aids Printable
Used (2) -$2 J&J Band-Aids In-Ad Q
Used (2) -$3 Lysol No Touch Hand Soap kit (SS 7/11)
Used -$4 in +Up Rewards

Total after coupons and +Ups used = $1.96

$8.39 towards the Skin Care SCR

+Up Rewards Earned = $2 ($1 J&J, $1 Coppertone)

MIR Earned = $3 J&J Band-Aids (found on a display at Rite Aid)

Cost = .96 cents

Notes:  I should have used the $3 Adperk Coppertone but when I cut it out, I misplaced and I was running out the door and talking to a friend on the phone so I just grabbed the +Up Rewards to soften my OOP.  I didn’t know that my 20% discount would take the Coppertone to $8.39.  The $2 J&J Band-Aids Q you can use those on any J&J Band-Aids and not just those specified on the Q.

    Rite Aid sent me three 10% wellness passes that are utterly and completely worthless. You get one pass for every 125 pts, and at 500 points the 10% is automatic on everything. Well I only received the two passes in the mail just a week before I hit the 500 mark, and I just got the third pass in the mail yesterday too, after I hit the mark. It says on them that it's all moot if your card already gives the 10%. Stupid program with those passes if you ask me. Why send passes so late and make them worthless. I didn't even know how those passes worked to begin with. They never explained that part of their program.

    I agree. The whole sending you pass AFTER you have reached the 10% on your Wellness Card is dumb and a waste of money!

    Can I give the passes to someone else or sell them, or are they only good for my card (well not anymore since I get the 10% now automatically)?
