Yesterday, I was trying to organize my coupon inserts. They were a mess! However, I have so many inserts that I now need some kinda file container to put them to keep them organized. I remember that Rite Aid has an $5 SCR on a file tote. Perfect.
I came home from CVS and I cut out some coupons and headed to Rite Aid. It took me a while to find the “Gracious File Tote on Wheels” but I found it…up front near a seasonal Back-to-School aisle. But there was no price tagged for it so I figured it was about $9.99…boy was I ever wrong so my OOP was a bit higher than I was expecting.
Here are my gets at Rite Aid:
Bought 1 Gracious File Tote on Wheels $11.59 (after my discount!)
Bought 1 Viva Paper Towels 8ct $6.99
Bought 1 Zegerid 14ct $10
Total = $28.58
Used -$1 Viva July Adperk Q
Used -$4 Zegerid (SS 6/20)
Used -$3 Zegerid In-Ad Q
Used -$9 in +Up Rewards
Total = $6.58
SCRs Earned = $5 (I didn’t qualify for this SCR since you have to buy 2…thanks, Felicia!)
+Ups Earned = $8 ($1 Viva, $7 Zegerid)
MIR Earned = $6.58 Zegerid MIR (in the 6/20 SS)
Cost = $1.40
Notes: I had $22 worth of coupons so I didn’t think I would need to print out $3 Zegerid Adperk Q. Yep, I’m gonna do another Zegerid MIR and use my PO Box address. Good grief, I had no idea that those file totes cost so much. The regular retail price of the file tote is $14.49 and with my 20% discount it came to $11.59. But it’s all good in the hood with the $5 SCR and the $6.58 MIR.
I forgot to get some newspapers, today, so I’ll head over Rite Aid in a bit to get newspapers. There was nothing real exciting in today’s inserts that why I kinda put off buying them this morning.
