As you all know, it’s been a slow week at Rite Aid for deals BUT I wanted to get the Fiber One Bars b/c I eat those at work for a mid-day snack. I try to stay away from those vending machines. I hunted and hunted for Fiber One Bar coupons but I couldn’t find any in my inserts so I guess we didn’t get them?
I went to Adams Ave Rite Aid which is closest to my apartment. I rarely go there b/c they always read each and every word of a coupon. It ain’t like I’m trying to use a $1 Kellogg’s coupon on Garnier Shampoo when I go in there but they are such PITA’s (pain in the a$$) about using coupons in the evenings that it’s just easier to go to another store and avoid this one.
However, since I had a very simple transaction, I decided to hit this store.
Here are my gets at Rite Aid:
Bought 2 Fiber One Bars $5
Bought 1 Crest Pro-Health Sensitive $2.69
Bought 1 Rolaids Softchews Cherry 18ct $1
Bought 1 La Cross Toe Clippers $2.95
Bought 1 La Cross Finger Clippers $.89
Total = $12.53
Used -$.50 Crest (P&G 8/1)
Used -$1 Rolaids (SS 6/6)
Used (2) -$1 La Cross (RP 6/13)
Total = $9.03
SCRs Earned = $4.69 ($2 La Cross, $2.69 Crest)
+Up Rewards = $1 Fiber One
Cost = $3.34
Notes: Yep, the cashier checked and re-checked the coupons against the items I got. He held the item and the coupon together for a match up…as the line of customers grew. Trust me, there could have been 120 customers in line and it would not have bothered me one bit…especially since it did not seem to bother the cashier! LOL
If we still had the $5/$20’s, I would have gotten another $8 worth of items but since there’s only the $5/$25, I wasn’t even going there.
Hey, getting items that I need for a cost of $3.34 is not a bad trip!
