I wanted to post my trip early so that others can see how I did with my L’Oreal senario! Although, I post a suggested senario, I always do a twist on a senario to suit my needs…and I hope you do, too.
After yapping on the phone, I realized that I was running late for Rite Aid. I knew that I need to get there early to get the Purex 3-in-1. It’s a good thing that I got there when I did b/c there were only TWO Purex 3-in-1 on the shelf. I’ll hit some other Rite Aids to get more of these little gems.
Anyways, I found everything I wanted BUT when I got up to register the cashier was having a problem scanning the In-Ad Q for the L’Oreal??? Of course, a big ole line begins to form behind but you know that I don’t care…he’s gonna scan that dag nabit coupon if it kills him. He finally manually enter the Q.
Here are my gets at Rite Aid:
Bought 2 L’Oreal Preference Hair Color $15.66
Bought 2 Oral-B Cross Action Toothbrushes $5.98
Bought 1 Purex 3-in-1 Detergent $5.99
Bought 1 Drano $2.99
Total = $30.62
Used – $5/$25
Used – $5/2 L’Oreal In-Ad Q
Used (2) $3 L’Oreal Hair Color (RP 8/15)
Used (2) $2 L’Oreal Hair Color August Adperk Q
Used -$2.99 Oral-B BOGO Q (RP 8/15)
Used -$3 Purex 3-in-1 (RP 8/15)
Used -$2.99 Drano (FREE coupon sent to me in the mail)
Total = $1.64
+Up Rewards Earned = $7 ($2 L’Oreal, $1 Purex, $1 Drano, (2) $1.50 Crest)
Profit = $5.36
Notes: I found my FREE Drano coupon and it scanned no problem. I thought that the L’Oreal Hair Color had a retail price of $8.99 BUT it’s actually $9.49 so I got a small discount. No problems using 2 of the same Adperk Qs although it was entered manually.
I did back-to-back transactions but I’ll post my other transaction later this evening.
Going to Rite Aid is better than going to CVS any day of the week!
