I made potato salad last night and I will take that over to a friends house for a cookout later today. I had $10 in Register Rewards sitting in my hot little hands but I didn’t want to spend any money to buy newspapers that only had the P&G insert. What better way to burn RR’s than to buy newspapers!
Plus, I had read that there was a $5 Dr Scholl’s coupon in the monthly coupon booklet (normally right next to the weekly sales ad) and there was a $6.99 Dr Scholl’s Rough Skin Eraser that I could use the coupon on. Of course, in Southern Calif is a higher price at $7.99. However, it’s summertime and we need to keep our feet situated in between pedicures so I really wanted to try this product. I hate seeing rough, dried up feet people wearing sandals…it’s a pet peeve that I have! Put those hoofs in some shoes until you can get your feet done!!!! LOL
Here are my gets at Walgreens:
Bought 1 Dr Scholl’s Rough Skin Eraser $7.99
Bought 4 Newspapers $3.50
Bought 6 Reese’s Peanut Buttercups $4
Total = $15.49
Used -$5 Dr Scholl’s Walgreens IVC (instant value coupon)
Used -$10 in Register Rewards
Total = .49 cents
Notes: Normally, the newspapers sell for $1.75 each but the cashier only charged me for 2 of the papers which in turn made me buy the Reese’s PB cups.
