My trip to Walgreens today…

I finally had time to look for -$2 off Lysol coupon and found it. Walgreens is having the “Buy 2/$7 get $2 RR”. At first, I wasn’t going to do the Lysol deal b/c I only had one little -$1 off Lysol coupon but after searching my Coupon Spreadsheet, I found the -$2 off Lysol in the 5/17 Smart Source insert…so I had two of the -$2 off Lysol which make the deal FREE (Lysol 2/$7 – (2)$2 Lysol coupons = 2/$3 + $2 RR = $1 for 2 Lysol Sprays).

So, here are my gets at Walgreens:

Bought 2 Lysol Disinfecting Spray 12.5 oz $7
Bought Aquafresh 5.6 oz $3
Bought Hallmark Card $7.99

Subtotal: $12.99

Used -$2 Lysol Spray
Used -$2 Lysol Spray
Used -$5 RR Kerasal Exfoiliating Moisurizer

Total After Coupons & RRs = $8.99 RRs earned = $2 Lysol, $3 Aquashfresh

Grand Total OOP = $10.56

Total Value= $22.96 with $5.00 RRs remaining!

Side Note: I ended up buying the Hallmark Card b/c I had a squabble with a co-worker who I really like and the squabble was TOTALLY my fault b/c I blew up b/c I had a deadline to meet at work. Although, I personally apologized to my co-worker for blowing up, I wanted to buy a card to say that I was truly sorry for the blow up.

If I had not bought the Hallmark Card my out of pocket would have been $1.98 plus tax for two Lysol Sprays and the Aquafresh Toothpaste.

Also, the value of the items is the items NOT on sale. Before couponing, I would have never bought Lysol b/c it was too expensive. This evening, Walgreens had already taken down the sales signs getting ready for tomorrow’s sale and I saw that for one Lysol Spray it normally sells for $4.99 a can. WOW. Thank God for coupons!!!!
