It’s Super Bowl weekend and Happy February! People are out here planning all kinds of get togethers or not for Super Bowl. Someone had the audacity to ask me if I was rooting for San Francisco or the Kansas City. Let’s be clear, as a Northern California girl, of course, I am rooting for the 49’ers!!! My dad was a big sport fanatic and I believe he love baseball, football and basketball all the same. However, the Super Bowl was a bit different because you had food since it was like an all day event with the pre-game sports commentary, the Star Spangled Banner is sung, the kick off, the game, the half time show, the second half…it’s all an day event. It’s like planning Thanksgiving Day. The grocery stores will be packed, you’d better go early, this morning, to do your grocery shopping.
Very interesting that Ralphs/Kroger had an unexpected freebie on Friday but I suspect that they are doing whatever it takes to get us into their doors because most customers will only visit one grocery store for Super Bowl supplies.
Walgreens has the Doritos and Lay’s chips on sale for $1.88 which is an excellent deal and you don’t have buy certain quantity to get the $1.88 price.
If you plan to make hamburgers or hotdogs and you still have your $1 Bakery coupons then the buns at Vons/Albertsons. We had bacon cheeseburgers (remember when the beef was on sale for $5?) and I picked up the burger buns was like $2.29 so I got the buns for $0.29. Don’t forget on Tuesday, we did get the FREE Kinder’s BBQ Sauce.
Just in case, you’ve been totally distracted with work, school, kids or whatever, don’t forget to get your FREE any Brand Fresh Avocados (up to $2)!!!🥑
I noticed, this morning, that there isn’t a February Level Ibotta bonus offer.
Anyways, although Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday, we will still be getting (1) Smart Source and (1) Retail Me Not coupon inserts in the newspapers.
If you have not been to CVS, this week, go into your CVS account and print or send to card your CVS coupons!
If Saturday, enjoy your day!
