Plotting and Planning

It’s the first day of August which means you should to request your funds from the rebate apps because you never know if they may go under.  The rebate apps are not a bank.

My nephew is out of the hospital and he is in 14 day quarantine and he’ll be recovering alone at his home. My brother is taking him food and other essentials while he’s in quarantine.  We don’t think about when someone has the Coronavirus or has been exposed to the virus and they are in quarantine that someone has to bring them food. My nephew is a single guy so he didn’t have much food in his house before going into the hospital.

Speaking of the Coronavirus, I want to reiterate that you should be beefing up your stockpile of essentials for the long haul.  You don’t want to wait until they issue a shelter-in-place order and the grocery stores and drugstores prices go back up to regular retail prices.  Use whatever store rewards you have to lower your out of pocket. You should have enough masks, hand soap, hand sanitizers, laundry soap, dish soap, cleaning supplies, kleenex, cold and flu meds, top ramen, chili, rice, beans, soups, tuna, seasonings, cereal, diapers, etc. to last you through April or May.

Stop by Rite Aid, CVS and I read that Walmart do have the cold and flu meds on 75% off clearance.

If you haven’t stopped by CVS, this week, then go to your CVS account and print or send to card your CVS coupons.

Inside the Sunday newspapers, we will be getting the Smart Source 8/2, Retail Me Not 8/2 #1, RetailMeNot 8/2 #2 and RetailMeNot 8/2 #3 coupon inserts.  Click on the hyperlinks to read the coupon previews.

It’s Saturday, enjoy your day!
