1The OneTouch Verio IQ Meters are being recalled. Check your stash of diabetes meters b/c you may have it your stash.

If you have the meter (box opened or not) print the recall letter. Take the letter and the meter to CVS and they will put the amount of the meter, $29.99,  on a CVS Gift Card!!!!

Do not take the receipt with you and the CVS will refund you the amount of the meter!

I want to say they did sell for $69.99 originally. I didn’t have the coupon so I never bought them.

You can return them to wherever you bought them.

Nice!! Turning what was presumably already a mm into another mm. Who needs ethics when you can keep making money at companies expense!?!?

I think this is so wrong from ALL fronts. The fact that we (I say we because I bought two to give them out) have a stash really means we are not even using them. So, we would be returning them, without a receipt so as to make money. Is this really ethical? If you really use these, then you can return and get your money back. I do not think it is ethical to return them so as to make money.

Keep in mind that the product is defective and most recalls that I am aware of do not require a receipt to return a defective product. You may not like the fact that people may have a stash of the meters but really ethics has nothing to do with the recall, the products are defective and people are being asked to return them for a refund.

They are defective so it’s a good thing that you hung to them and didn’t give them away!

I tried returning the verio IQ meter to cvs but the manager said he can’t accept it bc they no longer carry the product. He asked me to call the toll free number on the recall letter so they can replace me with a new one. I told him I don’t want a new one. He said sorry he can’t help me.

I went to another cvs. It was a smooth return.
            Thanks.

just a little confused… how would i go about getting the refund in cvs… i dont think the cashiers will have any clue about the recall… lol

You print the Recall Notice and take it to your CVS along with the meter.
