It is being reported that you can buy a $50 Rite Aid gift card and use the In-Ad coupon for Earn $15 Bonus Cash when you buy $50 which will make the gift card just $35 after Bonus Cash!!!!  This is a glitch as the In-Ad coupon does exclude gift cards so YMMV.

According to Slick Deals, the actual In-Ad coupon is LB11570 and it works on $25 x 2 fixed.  The coupon that was emailed to us on Sunday, when you go to print it, it changes to LB11571 works on $50 variable.  The coupons are one time only use and it’s being reported work on Home Depot and Rite Aid gift cards.  Again, YMMV.

Does it work only for Rite Aid Gift Cards? Or I can buy a GC for another store to get $15 ? Thanks!

Jessica, it’s only being reported for Rit Aid and Home Depot gift cards. I’ve updated my post.

Rite aid has 2 kind of rite aid gc. Last time I bought the blue one and did not generate $15 bonus cash. I got $15 only when I bought the rite aid holiday gc.

Do you know which GC generates $15 BC this time? Do you know if I can buy GC using self service machine, coz some cashiers don’t want to scan the coupon?

It is none of my business whatever risk someone else chooses to take. But if an offer specifically says “gift cards excluded” then you have no grounds whatsoever to complain if the reward never appears, thus you are stuck paying full price. The only exception I would make would be if I IMMEDIATELY planned to spend $50 there anyway. In that case, you’ve got nothing to lose. Otherwise, not for me.

Gotta agree with you Nick. There ‘s enough legit deals out there…why try this one and get upset when it doesn’t work. Plus gift cards are nonrefundable…not only are you stuck with it, you’re out $50.00!

You can’t buy a gift card at self check out, at least not at my store. Can you use coupons at self check out at Rite Aid??? I’ve updated my post with additional information.

Yes, I always use coupon at self checkout without issue.

I did not know that you can use coupons at the Rite Aid SCO, I’ve been going through the regular cashier register when using coupons. Thanks for letting me know.

All I know is that the In-Ad coupon is LB11570 works for (2) $25 fixed amount Rite Aid gift cards and the emailed coupon works for the variable amount Rite Aid gift card. I don’t shop at Rite Aid like I used to back in the old days, otherwise, I would try out this deal.

SL is a very long time reader of this blog and understands the “risks” in doing these types of deals.

I am shopping in RA all the time so I buy RA GC to cover the cost when I used up my bonus cash. I just want to know if both kind of RA GC generate the $15 this time and let everyone know that one of the GC not generated $15 last time.
