I did all the 3 transactions and exactly same as yours. Thank you so much for giving the ideas for transactions.

$5 Ducolax Balance MIR (MIR extended to September 2010)

Are you sure it's extended, as the form says through 02/28/10, postmarked by 3/7/10?

  • DMC in DC July 19, 2010, 18:17

"plus Zegerid MIR in SS 6/20"

I have this rebate and just read it. It will reimburse the price, less coupons and discounts, so if I was charged $10 and used $10 in coupons, though only a $3 coupon says Zegerid on the receipt, do you think with will reimburse me at all?

  • Ms Benjamins July 20, 2010, 00:06

DMC, Yep, the Dulcolax MIR did get extended. They also turn the rebates around pretty quickly.

No one really has any experience with Zegerid b/c it's a brand new OTC product so we will all see how they will determine how to pay out the rebate when we used multiples coupons and bought other items besides the Zegerid to pay us.

  • DMC in DC July 20, 2010, 01:14

The receipt I have the Zegerid on, after all discounts, coupons, and +UPs used came to only .50 cents plus tax, so I was worried they would only reimburse me .50 cents, even though the coupons were for other items, according to what the form says, it looks like they won't reimburse you more than you paid, if it is less than the cost of the price.

  • Ms Benjamins July 20, 2010, 04:59

DMC, wow you had a great trip with only .50 cents out of pocket!!!

My inclination would be not to submit the Zegerid MIR since they have stipulations on the form.

  • DMC in DC July 20, 2010, 19:48

Here's my new idea… buy it at CVS for $9.99, less $3 coupon in paper, for $6.99 total out of pocket. Submit rebate for $6.99 reimbursement. BUT get $3 extra bucks at the bottom of the receipt… so that way I get the Zegerid for free again with MIR rebate, but make $3. 🙂

  • DMC in DC July 20, 2010, 19:55

Hmmm… I have the MIR from the Sunday Paper, but also found this guarantee online…

    http://www.zegeridotc.com/download/Zegerid%20OTC%20Money%20Back%20Guarantee%20Refund%20Form.pdf

I wonder if I can do both? I may do the CVS $3 money maker with the Sunday Paper rebate and then try the guarantee form with my Rite Aid receipt and see what I get… what do you think?

  • Ms Benjamins July 21, 2010, 02:58

I completely forgot about the Zegerid Guarantee! Thanks for the reminder.

For me, I like the Prevacid or Zantac much better than the Zegerid. I'll have submit for that rebate, too! LOL.

I'll post a reminder about the Zegerid Guarantee.

  • Ms Benjamins July 21, 2010, 03:01

DMC, that's a great idea about buying the Zegerid at CVS.
