Update:  The 58 Load2Card coupons is what is causing the registers to freeze up and crash when the Wellness card or phone number is given.  So, with me also having my +Up Rewards on my Wellness card, it was too much for the registers to handle and causes the registers to freeze up.  I had 184 Load2Card coupons plus my +Ups loaded to my card.  I had 134 coupons before the registers crashing so I went back in and unclipped the Load2Card coupons that I know that I would never use like the dog and cat food, food items not sold in my local stores and some other coupon and I now have 129 Load2Card coupons on my Wellness card! 🙂

Yesterday and today, I had problems with my Wellness+ Card in that every time my card was scanned by the scanner, it would totally shut down the register and this happened over and over again no matter which register was used.

I called Corporate, this morning, about the problem and they are aware of the issue and they are working to fix it.  I also let CS know that I had +Up Rewards that expire tomorrow and “Andrew” told me that if the problem is not fixed on Sunday that I was to call back on Monday to get the +Up Rewards sent me by mail.

    Wow. I am so glad it is not just me. I closed down three registers today while everyone else seemed to ring up fine. I hope they fix it before the end of the day as I was working on the Garnier deal.

      Ahh ok the same thing happened to me I do not have my up rewards loaded to card I only add L2C coupons. I have 157 L2C coupons, my card froze 2 computers and froze the 2nd one again when I used my number. I had 105 coupons I think before it crashed, how many should I unclip?

        I recommend going back to the 105 L2Cs. As I was looking through all the L2Cs that I had I realized that there were so many that I knew that I would never use so I unclipped them. The Rite Aid stores in San Diego do not have allot of refrigerated foods. We especially don’t have seafood, meat and allot of other items that are not carried by our stores. However, I do realize that some stores do carry a wide variety of food items. I don’t have a dog or cat so that was like 10 L2Cs that I could unclip.

    Oh, I just saw you put the Rite Aid 800 number here. If we are having problems should we call or are they working on fixing it and we should wait it out?

      Thanks for the update. I had over 150 coupons loaded and am on my way to unclip some of those puppies. 🙂

        LOL…Rite Aid needs to get it together, they should have known if we see all those coupons to clip that we are going to clip them not knowing that it freeze up the registers! It’s quite funny how we couponers locked up the registers yesterday and today! 🙂

    Guess we shouldn’t add every single online coupon to card. Too bad. It just makes it easier to just add everything. dd uses my card & she buys way different items than I do. I’ll now have to pay closer attention to what I add.

      I really think there was some sort of glitch when the Rite Aid programmers went into the system to fix the RA50 Anniversary. It seems like as soon as the RA50 started tracking…that’s when the registers started freezing up. I guess we have to be more mindful about which coupons we want clipped to our Wellness card.

    My card also didn’t work today. I called 1-800-rite-aid, they told me they are aware and working to fix it, but they don’t know how long it will take. They didn’t tell me what’s the problem. I wonder, Roz, how did you figure out what the problem is?
    Unfortunately, I couldn’t complete my Garnier deal and I could’t ask for a rain chaeck, since the store was well stocked on them.

      It was a very frustrating 2 days for me at Rite Aid having my card freeze cash register. After I got off of the phone with CS and published my post. I started looking around on the internet to see if others were going through the same thing as I. I then found someone of youtube who was having the same issue and she determined it was the Load2Card.

      Garnier is a monthly deal so you can finish it off! 🙂
