Rite Aid Sent an Email to Their Stores

Last weekend, I noticed that one of my favorite cashiers was kinda nervous when she was checking me out.  She scanned my coupons as normal but then after she had scanned them all, she then counted them.  At the time, I thought it was strange but she didn’t say anything so I thought it was all good.

Then yesterday, another favorite cashier, she counted all my coupons before she began scanning them.

I found out yesterday that Rite Aid has sent an email to all their stores  that they can only take 1 store coupon and 1 manufacturer coupon per item.

I am assuming that some stores did not know this policy and my guess is that the email tells the employees to “count” the coupons.  This may have an impact on how we can use our beloved Load2Cards.

Are L2Cs considered store or manufacturer coupons? I have no clue! 😛

Honestly, I don’t know. I do know that the L2Cs are sponsored by the manufacturers but so are the +Ups, VVs and In-Ad coupons. As far as I know, Rite Aid has not stated what they are – store or mfq coupons.
