I have been at Gold Status at Rite Aid since February or March of this year, in fact, I have been at Gold Status since the program rolled out in 2010.

The easiest way to get to Silver or Gold Status is to roll your +Up Rewards each week.  For example, this week, if you do the Wahl’s Personal Trimmers and the Axe Body Wash deal, you will accumulate 49 points.  Throw in the Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics deal and you will have a cool 61 points.  Those $2 Scunci or Conair In-Ad coupon that in this week’s sales insert, use as many of those coupons as your store allows, the bobbie pins and the rat-tail combs are super inexpensive.

Before coupons, you earn points dollar for dollar spent with the exception being lotto tickets, cigarette products, gift cards, milk products or alcohol.

You want to earn as many points that you can in the first three (3) weeks of December b/c the Rite Aid programmers start tinkering with the system and it causes craziness in the number of points you have shown on your receipt and in your online Wellness account.

Make sure to do all the freebie and of course, all Money Maker deals over the next three weeks and you will make Silver or Gold Status in no time!

I’m at 802 points and counting. I took my son in to get a flu shot thinking my insurance would cover it, of course it wasn’t covered so I used my FSA debit card to pay (it is only for medical expenses) and not only will it add points to my total but I also completed the $70 in purchases I need to get my $10 +Up for my Rite Aid Gift promo, not to shabby!

Very smart!!!! I haven’t gotten my flu shot this year but I plan to do it. My insurance company didn’t cover my flu shot at Rite Aid neither last year.

I’m so curious how many points you have. I have over 2800, and I’m wishing they had a platinum level, lol!
