Shop, Play, Win! MONOPOLY starts March 3

Last year, as we was heading into the lockdowns for COVID19, none of us knew what to expect because we had never been in a public health crisis before with stay-at-home orders.  With non-essential activities shutdown overnight, the only solace that we could take is that we still go to the grocery store and play the Monopoly game!!!

I am absolutely looking forward to Playing Monopoly and getting my Monopoly Game Pieces each time I go into Vons or Albertsons.  It was so much fun using the Monopoly app to scan the pieces to see freebies or tickets that you had received.

I highly recommend that you download the Monopoly app!

Ms. B., I rarely tell you anything that you don’t already know. So, with Monopoly, the cashier you get can greatly affect the number of game pieces you receive. Some will count out each individual one. But others will grab a handful! It just really depends, so make your choices of checkout lane accordingly.

Oh, yes, it definitely depends on your cashier how many tickets they give us.

I remember going to a Safeway near my friend’s house in Northern California near the end of the game a long time ago.

He gave me the entire box of game pieces.

Let’s just say I had to go back the next day to get a dozen free donuts, amongst other things. I also won a $5 gift card.

A woman in front of me in line one time who spent over $150 didn’t want her tickets so I was more than willing to take them! There were AT LEAST 30 compared to the 3 or 4 that I usually get. Didn’t win anything major, but I told her I would make a donation to charity if lightning struck. It didn’t, but I sent $10 to St. Jude’s anyway.

Did anyone read FAQs and terms and conditions? It sounded like the game pieces will be digital and there won’t be a game board.

          Your thoughts?
