Due to the CoronaVirus, some stores are closing like the Apple stores and other stores are changing their hours like most 24 hour Walmarts will reduce their hours to 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

If you are in Southern California, Ralphs modified hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

You can read, Stores cutting hours or closing because of coronavirus: Walmart, Apple, Nike, Publix, Kroger for more info about store closing and shopping hours.

This all reminds me of a conversation I had a long time ago with my grandparents (or maybe great grandma?) about the Great Depression. There were long lines, rationing of food, and an overall sad atmosphere. The grocery store CEOs say this is different and there is plenty of everything, it’s just not on the shelves. We will soon see about that!

Nick, I remember as a child, we waited in long lines in the 70’s to get gas for our car because of a gas shortage.
