Target: A couple of Good Deals!!!

I recently saw a lady on Youtube rave about the So Delicious Oatmilk Frozen Dessert in the Salted Carmel with cashews flavor and Target has a 40% off Target Circle coupon that brings the price down to $2.81.

There’s a $1 So Delicious Oatmilk Frozen Dessert, limit 5, Ibotta rebate which makes for cheap alternative ice cream!!!

Plus, Nick, let us know that the Perfect Bar Brownie is $2.49 and there’s a 50% off Target Circle coupon.  Plus, there’s a $0.50 Perfect Bar, any variety, limit 5, Ibotta rebate offer which makes the final price of the Perfect Bar Brownie just $0.75 each!!!!

A little side note, I finally figured out how to change my store back to my nearest store.  At the bottom of the Target app, click “My Store” and then you’ll see in the upper right corner that there are three small dots to click and you’ll be able to make the change there.

Thanks, Nick!

Well, there’s good news but then there’s bad news.

The good news is that the 50% off chocolate walnut brownie Perfect Bar offer continues at Target this week. And, even better, after you buy 4 (the maximum Target Circle allows per transaction) and submit to Ibotta you will probably get a Ibotta reset like I did!

BUT… 🤖 ☠️👻 it’s probably the worst ibotta reset I’ve ever seen. The cashback is cut by 75%!!! So instead of 50 cents per bar it plummets to 25 cents. For TWO bars! Oh hell no.

Yikes, cut by 75% and you must buy 2. I always wonder why they even bother resetting the offer when it’s that terrible?

Ms. B., Ibotta is a very streaky app! Your luck can run hot or cold. Yes, they cut my cashback drastically on this reset. But I now WILL probably buy 2 more anyway! You might wonder why I changed. It’s because late this morning they reset the Weekly Essentials $5 bonus for this week. And it *only* requires 12 offers, plus a generous end date of 5/3. That changed my strategy, because although the 25 cents for 2 bars is negligible I now factor that offer’s contribution to earning the $5 bonus. I like Perfect Bars enough to value them at $1 each, especially when they’re helping me put $5 in my pocket!

Nick, I just checked to make sure that I wasn’t crazy but I didn’t get the $5 Weekly Essentials offer. We always can to make our own deals on items that we dearly love!

It’s hard to say why we do or do not get specific offers. BUT… I do recall that I recently signed up for Ibotta texts. I think the invitation came in an email. And I figured I had nothing to lose since I could stop the texts if they were annoying.

Nick, I didn’t get an email invite for Ibotta text. They are probably doing a beta test and you were one of the lucky ones! 🙂
