Thanksgiving is Next Month

I know that it is still super hot, in San Diego, but Thanksgiving is next month and you have start planning.  If you plan to cook, now, is the time, to go through your kitchen cabinets and take an inventory of the spices that you have and the spices that you don’t have to cook Thanksgiving dinner and begin a list.  Each time that you go to the grocery store, go into the baking aisle and the spice aisle to see if anything on your list is on sale.

The easiest way to save money is to have a budget and stick to it.  If you know that you will have a one-time-only expense like Thanksgiving, you plan for it.  Don’t let life get in the way and the next thing that you know, it’s a week before Thanksgiving.

Last week and the week before last, Vons has had the foil pans on sale 2/$3 or 2/$5 including the turkey foil pans.  Yes, the Dollar Tree and the $.99 Store sells foil pans for a $1 but they are not as sturdy as the pans that you can get a traditional grocery store.

I recently received an email from Vons for Doorstep Delivery in which you order your groceries online, and they’ll deliver them to your doorstep and you can use the code TWENTY and get FREE Delivery on your 1st order (minimum purchase of $49).

Order by 11/30/2017. Enter Promo Code: TWENTY at online checkout. $49 minimum purchase is required to process and deliver your order.

Use whatever promotion, you have to save money on your grocery bill to be able to enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner!
