A reader mentioned that the $1.50 off package of Truvia Stevia Sweetener coupon wasn’t working for her at Walgreens nor Walmart and I believe that she is having a printer problem.

In general, if the $1.50 off package of Truvia Stevia Sweetener digital coupon works then the printable coupon will work, too.  Obviously, this is not always a true statement but in general, if the digital works then the printable does, too. As you see by the picture above, the $1.50 off digital is attaching/associated with the Truvia.  Again, we all know that Walgreens digital coupons do act wonky.

I printed out the $1.50 off package of Truvia Stevia Sweetener coupon and I checked on the Qseer Bar Code Reader app ($1.99) to see if maybe the coupon isn’t coded correctly, however, the coupon is coded for the Truvia sweetener.

I then checked the manufacturer’s code (13600) to see if it was a match for the Truvia and it’s a match for the Truvia.

I do periodically check coupon bar codes to see if they will scan especially for new product coupons, peelies, hangtags and free products coupons because I don’t like surprises at the registers.

I have had my Brothers laser jet printer HL2270DW for about 10 or 12 years which I got for $99 with free shipping.  The ink cartridges are expensive but you only need to change them like every 18 months or 2 years depending on how much you print.  I also order a no name brand printer ink that is compatible with my printer.

I also have a 4-in-1 inkjet printer and if I print a coupon on that thing, it will not scan but I use the copy, fax and scan features.

For $1.99, I highly recommend that you download the Qseer Bar Code Reader app.

I was so frustrated on Saturday. Printed a bunch of coupons from coupons.com – Magnum ice cream, Klondike, Aveeno and Lubriderm and nothing scanned at my Kroger affiliate. I print in BW to save on ink but the cashier blamed me that they are copies and that’s the reason they don’t scan. I left everything on the counter and decided to try another store. I remember the last time I printed Magnum coupons from coupons.com they didn’t scan as well but cashier pushed them. Kroger must have new firm guidelines against coupons that do not scan…. I used the Aveeno and Lubriderm at RA and they scanned perfectly. But had to purchase the Magnum without coupons for the Fetch deal.

Tina, how frustrating you trip was on Saturday. I never print color coupons…NEVER. I just used Qseer Bar Code Reader app on the $1.50 off 2 Magnum Ice Cream bars that I printed this morning and it was a hard scan, I had turn that coupon in every direction, adjust the lighting and everything to finally get the coupon to scan with the app. Some coupons do take longer to scan and other coupons scan through without an issue.

I highly doubt its my printer issue.

I do print in color, I print a lot of coupons ( most of it works)
Same goes for Dave’s killer bread (the freebie that came from Instagram game), it wont scan without manager intervention in Target and Walmart.

As far as truvia goes, it didn’t scan for my Mom in Alexandria ( Louisiana as well). She has black and white printer and sometimes cashiers do give her hard time about color… ( OMG ! it scans but they would go on how its a copy because its B&W, we all know this one)

Freebie coupons are typically coded for a manual intervention by the cashier as a way to prompt them enter the amount of the product on the coupon. Some stores like Walmart and Target are skittish about printable coupons. I didn’t shop at Target with printable coupons for years because it was a headache but they now take printable without blinking. I’ve had the cashiers barely try scanning the coupon and saying “it doesn’t” and I just walk away…you cannot deal with those types of people.

I successfully redeemed this offer earlier today paying $2.99/2 but using only the $1.50 Walgreens digital for a total of $1.49. The Ibotta submission initially went to pending but the $3 was credited within two hours.

I was grateful this worked as planned even without the coupons.com additional coupon. Before I went to Walgreens I checked the store’s inventory which said only 5 in stock. So, I rushed. At the store when I arrived all 5 were still there. BUT… the price tag didn’t say $2.99 BOGO, it said $5.79 BOGO. No bueno! So I took a box over to photo to get a price check and it was indeed $2.99. Phew! Still can’t figure out why they printed a $5.79 BOGO when they are only $2.99 but maybe I’ll just head back later in the week with a coupons.con $1.50 if Ibotta resets. They won’t sell nearly as many of people think they’re $5.79. Shh!🕵️‍♀️

Nick, thanks for the heads up on the Babybel Plus and I’m glad you were able to grab the Werther’s candy and the Truvia!!!

Same here Nick. The shelf price said $5.99 but they rang up $2.99… weird.

It’s fine with me if Ms, B.and us renegade band of shoppers are the only ones who know it’s really only $2.99! That means we can repurchase with Ibotta resets and get more for free without the inventory being wiped out. Great! 🥳

I found a store with 6 according to Walgreens online, I was skeptical but ordered 4 this morning and they are ready for pick up 🙂 it will still be $1.51 mm

I checked my Walgreens this morning. It had 5 in stock yesterday before I bought 2 for the moneymaker deal. Today they still have all 3. Nobody bought it after I did, the almost $6 wrong price tag scared them off! 🤣

Bought last 2 instore and ip coupon wouldn’t scan, cashier tried 5 times before calling a manager over and manager manually entered the coupon

Nick- did you have trouble with $1.50 ip scanning?
