The big Bloggers have assistants to help them keep their blogs up to date and fact checked to keep them out of trouble (think lawsuits).  However, we, smaller Bloggers do it all, from the writing, to the posting, to the research, we do it all.

Most of the times, my “facts” are pretty accurate and I don’t stuff that do not sound right to me.

On November 15th, I posted a deal about $30/$60 + $9.99 Rebate from  It appeared to me to a legitimate offer so I posted it.  Tis the season and all that…and retailers are trying to coax us into visiting their site or into their stores with great deals for the upcoming holiday season.

Well, yesterday, I received an email from Teresa asking me to contact her about the post – she left her email address and phone number.  Since she did not leave any other comment as to why I should contact her, I already know that she wanted me to modify my post in some way.

In order to mitigate having to change my blog posting for the folks over at Shoe Buy to suit their specifications (it’s not like Shoe Buy was paying me), I decided to delete the posting in it’s entirety.

Now, Teresa for Shoe Buy can move on and do more searches across the Blogsphere for the words “shoe buy” and bug those Bloggers!

It’s definitely much easier to delete the post then to go back and forth with her! 🙂

I did this deal and I did not get the $9.99 rebate, I did not see it anywhere on the website. Still, I got a pretty good deal on the shoes I wanted. Thanks.
