I decided to try out CVS today but also hit Walgreens (WAGS) and Vons (grocery) store and knock out the majority of my shopping in two hours this morning.

CVS: (I used no coupons)

  • 2 CVS plastic cups (B1G1 free)
  • 2 Irish Spring Body Wash $4.99 ea
  • 1 Esssence of Beauty Pedicure set $9.99
  • 1 CVS Beauty magazine $.99 cents

Total Out-of Pocket: $10.86 ***Note the cashier charged me TWICE for the chinet plates otherewise my real out-of-pocket would have been $7.86. I didn’t catch it until I got home.

Total: $35.30

So today, I spent $93.73 in total on groceries and non-groceries and used $20.63 in coupon savings…so I saved like 30% today. Not bad…and I am under my $100 grocery budget.

It’s all about saving money and building up the Benjamins.
