Yesterday, I had forgotten about the Zantac EB deal and I thought the limit was 1 on the Starburst.
I did this deal with cash b/c I have a HSA (Health Saving Acct) but they don’t reimburse me if I use my Extra Bucks to pay for it. I did this transaction kinda on the fly or I would have use my $.89 EB to pay for the Starburst!
Here are my gets at CVS today:
Bought 1 Zantac 150 65ct $19.99
Bought 1 Starburst
Total = $20.88
Used -$1 Zantac (SS 8/23)
Used -$2 Zantac CVS CRT
Total after coupons = $17.88
EBs Earned = $5.89
Then, I had my son, Kevin, sign up for a CVS card. The first thing the cashier says is “he has to be 18 y/o to get a card.” He showed his ID and she gave him a card.
Kevin did the following small transaction:
Bought 2 Starburst $1.78
Bought 2 Reeces Peanut Butter Cups $1
Total = $2.78
Used 1 BOGO Reeces Peanut Butter Cups (SS 8/23)
Total after coupon used = $2.28
EBs Earned = $1.78
Notes: I looked for more of the Glade Lasting Impressions and Sense & Spray…they were totally out of stock!!!!! I had my coupons ready.
I will turn in my claim for reimbursement tomorrow for the Zantac so that it will be totally FREE plus I got a $5 EB. So, my real out of pocket for this transaction was…$.89 and I earned $5.89.
I scanned my card and I got the following CRT’s:
