Today’s trip to CVS…Profit = $15.12

I forgot to grab my coupon for FREE Glade Plugins Lasting Impressions. But I was 10 seconds away from my apartment so I turned around ran back in and then headed for the North Park CVS (in San Diego). There was plenty of stock to be had. I was shock when I asked “what’s my total?” after handing the cashier my coupons and EBs when she said “$.03”. I almost did a dance right there at the cash register. LOL…but I kept my cool.

Here are my gets at CVS this morning:

Bought 1 Glade Sense & Spray $5
Bought 1 Glade PlugIns Lasting Impressions $5
Bought 2 Palmolive 10 oz $2
Bought 2 Paper Mate 1.2 10ct $1.98
Bought 1 Clorox Bleach 96 oz $1.99
Bought 1 CVS Ibuprofun 24ct $3.29
Bought 1 Carefree 16ct $3.79
Bought 1 Starburst $.89
Bought 2 Nivea Moisturizer Lip Care $5.98

Total = $29.92

Used $9.99 Glade PlugIns Lasting Impressions Q (found inside refill box)
Used $4 Glade Sense & Spray (SS 8/23)
Used $1.49 EB
Used $1.98 EB
Used $1.98 EB
Used $2.99 EB
Used $2 EB
Used $2 EB
Used $6 EB

Total Coupons & EBs = $32.43

Total out of pocket after coupons & EBs = $.03 (incl taxes)

EBs Earned = $15.15

Profit = $15.12

Notes: As soon as the cashier told me my total was $.03, I knew immediately that she had deducted the full amount of $9.99 for the Glade Lasting Impressions Q instead of the $5 which meant I had a -$2.51 over and my taxes was $2.54.

Also, I didn’t want to raise a red flag by using two of the $9.99 Glade LI Q’s so instead I used one of them plus used the $4 Q in today’s Smart Source. The Glade Sense & Spray was $5 at CVS – $4 Q = $1 for the Sense & Spray.

The Nivea Lipcare I got those basically for FREE b/c of the overage and now I need $8.03 to get the $5 EB…that’ll be later this week.

Dang, I paid $.03 for all that stuff…now that’s what I’m talking about when I say I’m building up the Benjamins…$15.12 in profit! PLUS, I have $20 in EBs left from previous transactions for a total of $35.15 in EBs.
