The blueberries are an excellent use of the $1 produce digital. My $1 bakery digital did NOT work again yesterday, just like two weeks ago. I have no idea why it’s just that one, the other 3 work fine. I always suggest trying to use the 4 weekly $1 digitals in small orders so you can easily keep track of whether they are working. I did try the $1 bakery 3 other times two weeks ago on various items and it never worked. Will try just once more this week, I don’t like voiding items when an offer doesn’t work since it draws attention.

You cannot beat the price of $0.99 for 18 oz blueberries and they are a great antioxidants. It looks like the $1 bakery is only bakery items, i.e., I purchased a pre-sliced frosted cake and the $1 bakery came off…it’s definitely (for me) not working for sandwich breads or Hostess donuts, cupcakes, etc. Actually, I think the $1 bakery no longer works on any purchase in the bread aisle.

      • Nick November 12, 2021, 15:29

Thank you so much for clarifying! Wifey snd I had been using the $1 bakery on Oroweat for months when it was on sale, made it a nice double dip. I’ll try it on a bagel OR one of the store breads we like (the garlic bread!!!).

The $1 yogurt digital worked well this week. I bought 3 Dannon Oikos Triple Zero and paid 44 cents for all 3 after digitals kicked in. I bought a 4th but the total then jumped up $1.25 which meant no discount and digitals had stopped applying. So, buy exactly 3 this week and have everything activated.

Yogurt and o organic didn’t work?

        • Trish November 15, 2021, 17:29

Hey Nick…just what coupons did you use on the yogurt and what was the price for one? A while back I purchased two Dannon’s at around $.79 to make sure the price exceeded $1.00…coupon didn’t come off. I got the checker (at self-checkout) who refused to take the dollar off saying the price of ONE had to be over $1.00 (I never read that anywhere). Needless to say, I cancelled the yogurt!

The free item this weekend is the salsa! You’ll see it anyway when you log in, just calling attention to it in case there are morning shoppers.

There’s also good Ibotta offers for Pepsi Shop in the 12 pack and Chameleon coffee which is very expensive but $5 off for a bag or the cold brew concentrate.

      Thanks, Nick!

Bought 2 Chobani flip yogurt and used two 50 cent coupons ( the ones the Chobani Company sent me). I paid nothing because of the zip advantage. I then submitted the $1.22 offer from Ibotta. Offer is expiring in 10 hours. It was a $1.22 moneymaker.

  • Nick November 14, 2021, 16:59

Ms. B., You were right! The $1 bakery zip worked on a loaf of fresh French bread. So although we will miss using it on Oroweat there’s plenty to choose from in the bakery area! But $1 won’t go far on pastries, I saw a slice of carrot cake priced at $4.99, and I’m talking just a slice, not the whole cake. Bugs Bunny would need to be a millionaire!

    • Ms. B. November 14, 2021, 19:14

Sometimes, they do have those little cakes on 2/$5 on the Friday Only deals. It looks like Vons/Safeway/Albertsons has closed the loop for the $1 off Bakery by excluding everything in the bread aisle…now, if we can only figure out the yogurt. It’s working for some people and not others.

  • Trish November 15, 2021, 09:30

Are we back to using two zip codes (Northern CA & Las Vegas)? Nick made it sound like he used multiple coupons, not just $1.00.

    • Ms. B. November 15, 2021, 11:32

I believe Nick was talking about the produce, O organic, etc.

      • Trish November 15, 2021, 14:39

Well it was up above in his Nov 12 post about the Dannon Oikos yogurt…and he keeps saying ‘digitals’, like he was using more than one $1.00 coupon…if he got 3 for $0.44 I figure they ran about $.80+ each and you’d have to take $2.00 off to come out to $0.44. Plus, in the past (it was earlier this year), I bought two yogurts at $0.69 or $0.79 to make sure they exceeded $1.00 (since the coupon does read ‘more than $1.00’) and it didn’t come off…the clerk said the price of one yogurt had to be greater than $1.00…don’t know if that has changed or not.

        • Ms. B. November 15, 2021, 15:29

He may have some Personalized Pricing on the yogurts? I know that I get Personalize Pricing on the yogurts and we have to activate the digital coupons for the PP’s to apply but as far as I know, the NorCal/SoCal advantage has not come back unless it’s some sort of targeted offer.
